I bought this for my daughter and she uses it all the time for her morning smoothies. It does a great job and has held up well, even crushing ice!

I have had other blenders, this blows them out of the water. I use it daily to make smoothies using frozen fruit and ice cubes and it works like a dream. the spout is great for serving and the whole thing comes apart for very easy cleaning! highly recommend

My current Smootie Maker of 10 years finally quit on me. I was searching for another one and came across the Hamilton Beech Wave Station. I love it, great price, was actually cheaper than Smoothie Maker. I highly recommend it. Also makes a great milkshake

I have used blender to make SEVERAL drinks already - always with ICE. It makes short work of frozen margaritas and frozen fruit drinks. Great blender at a good price. Love the dispenser.

The plastic part that contains the blade which connects to the base is not very tight. The cord is short, could be a little bit longer. Other than that, its a great product. I tried by putting in different fruits (banana, orange, apple, etc...) and a little water and the blend was good and the dispense was great. Cleaning was simple. Also added ice cubes (1"x2") and they got crushed fairly well.

Not Margaritaville, but hey over $200 less

This is just great for making ice based drinks like Margaritas or Daiquiri or fruit drinks like smoothies. It has a powerful motor and blends smoothly. Drinks must not be made too thick or they cannot be drained through the tap. It is tougher to clean than a standard blender due to the tap, but the tap is a fun serving method. It's not the Margaritaville DM1000, but hey ... it's over $200 less, and that will buy a whole lot of taquila.

The proprietary blade design does a good job of blending. Actually blends better than a heavy duty blender we had. Easy to disassemble and clean. The "Dispense" setting is very handy for getting thicker mixes out of the spigot.

I am really pleased with my blender. It makes excellent smoothies. It crushes the ice extremely good. I personally like the short cord, it is more convenient. I also bought one for a family member as a gift. I am convinced she will be very happy with the quality and how good it works. I know she will really like the spout, it is one of her favorite features of a blender. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend or family member.

Purchased this on sale at a very low price. Bang for the buck is excellent. Product looks good on the counter, as well. Functionality good. The manual that comes with it is not necessarily parallel to the settings in description. Considering that you are not buying a Swiss watch....the product is recommended.

    Mixes well.

I originally bought this mixer for making ice blended cocktails and so far it's worked fairly well for that. The only problem I had was with using the attached spigot - tends to clog up or jam easily. Not really a big deal as the cover on top has the typical pitcher openings if you twist it (fully open or with slits). Just remember to clean every part of it when done - supposedly some people had problems with the rubber gasket leaking if not cleaned regularly or something. Always good to be safe and clean!

I'm no blender expert, but this blender gives what you might expect for $30: The ability to blend liquids and softer foods. Unfortunately, my wife and I like frozen smoothies, which require blending ice and frozen fruits. This blender (and every other $30 blender I've used) is not really cut out for it. The dispenser would probably be a good feature--it's solidly built and sounds useful--but again, it's not as useful for a chunkier, ice-based smoothie. Overall, I had hoped it could handle frozen things a little better, but other than that it's a perfectly fine blender.

This blender worked well until it stopped turning on. And I really don't have the time or inclination to get it fixed, even under warranty.
