Very Happy!

I needed a big pot to make large batches of chicken broth. It works great and provides me with tons of healthy chicken broth for the GAPS diet. The pot itself is a little heavy for me when I try to wash it, but that's really to be expected. I was concerned about the little air hole in the lid that my broth would evaporate, but it has been no problem at all. I've left it on for 3 days straight and still had more than enough liquid in it.

Works but packaging/quality issues

When it arrived, the box looked suspicious but the clerk would not open to inpect. At home I discovered water damaged and rust. Returned for replacement. Waited another week. Second one has a good size dent in the stainless where the handle attaches. Since it worked and we'd already waited 2weeks, we kept it. Works fine.

Wonderful product

It is large, has 3 temp settings, the crock is removable for easy cleaning, and best of all, the handles are sturdy and attached securely. The handles of my previous slow cooker (including the one for the cover) cracked and fell off early on. It still works, but it is a real nuisance to use. I'll keep it as back up for when I am making a very large batch - or 2 different recipes at the same time. This new slow cooker is also very handsome. I am very happy with it! I bought one for my daughter, too, and she is well pleased.
