I have been enjoying this because i can make one cup or a few! Just trying to figure out which flavor of coffee i truly love! Still trying new ones, it would be great if this came with samples of different coffees!

This coffeemaker combines the best of both worlds. It has all the necessary features when using the standard 12 cup maximum coffeepot. And switching over to use the K cup or mini-basket takes just seconds. You do have to be careful when using the K cup side that you do not overfill the water reservoir as it will give you an error. This I assume is to make sure that you don’t over flow your cup. Some have commented that the heater plate under the standard carafe gets hot when using the K cup side. I did not find this to be a big deal as it takes just a couple of minutes to make a single cup of coffee and at the end of the brew cycle the machine turns off. However, I do think it would’ve been better (and not an overly difficult engineering challenge) had the heating plate not been activated when using the K cup side. Overall, we are very happy with this product.

I got the coffee maker as a gift for my son. He had wanted a Keurig. I did a litter research and compared the brands. The Keurig Brand is not only more expensive but has a lot of problems : such as most don't last more than a year before having to replace it. Hamilton Beach has been around for many years, where as the Keurig brand has not. He loves the coffee maker it can make a 12 cups of coffee. Or you can use the K-cup for a single cup of coffee, Or you can use regular coffee for a single cup use.

Slight learning curve on the single serve but am very happy with carafe brewing.

I used many coffee makers before but this one really something else . I love its design and how easy to use

Perfect except the kcup side needs to.be taller for the.travel mug

It works great, the dual feature allows me to have just a quick cup from kcup or full 12 cups or any number of cups of fresh brew. easy and brews quick. Has bold selection for slower, stronger brew

So far this coffee maker has been a nice one. It is nice you can do k-cups or brew a pot all in the same machine. It takes up a little more space than your usual coffee maker but it is worth it for me.

I bought this coffeemaker for my mom who needed one simple enough for her to use and this does the job! Why I chose this one: - Decent price - Easy to use (just push the brew button to start/stop or fiddle with the options if you're so inclined) - Your choice of coffee pot or cup/standard travel mug --just turn the knob to switch from one to the either. - The cup/mug side allows you to do either regular coffee and filter method (with an included mini-filter) or k-cup - Displays the water level, including markings for cup max and travel mug max - Plus, I just really like the blue light (rather than the usual red or green) when it's on. It's pretty clear and easy to check that it's off when we're leaving the house. - In my opinion, it brews fairly quickly and it's easy to stop when I want to pour a cup before it's finished brewing. Note: Even though I bought it because it has the travel mug option, that side hasn't actually been used yet to my knowledge. It probably works just fine, but it's mere speculation on my part. :)

I have had a keurig in the past and had taken it back several times as of right now this is much better than a keurig and love can also make a pot of coffee if wanted to for the price this is a great buy

I like having the option of single cup brewing or pot of coffe when have guests

We love the convenience of single K-cup or 12 cup decanter. Wish someone would make filters to fit the single brew basket. Would be easier to clean up.

This Hamilton beach flex brew is a good alternative to a kurig. The regular pot brew is fast and I have no complaints. The single serve ground brew works well but the single serve pod option is slower and does not brew as strong.

My wife likes capsule coffee and I'm more traditional. This coffee maker gives you both! And the programming feature is great to have the coffee fresh in the morning without having to wait for it.

I have purchased a Hamilton Beach product before, so I knew I couldn't go wrong with this item. I like that fact that it's versatile, it give you the option to prepare coffee for family / friends or to easily grab a cup to go.

The coffee maker works great. I especially like that you can either make a full pot or brew and individual cup.

The main reason this one was chosen was for the auto program and the single cup maker. The nice thing about the single cup maker is that it can use k cups or a filter for ground coffee.

Unit leaks water and grounds when using K-Cups. Brew pot works great.

I really like this coffee maker. It does everything I need for it to do. The only complaint is that it seems to have slowed down. At first, it was pretty fast at brewing a pot and now it seems to take its time to finish brewing.

We have used this and all the options work great. This was a great buy.
