Coffee Maker Buying Guide

  • Enjoy simple preset operation: A timer allows you to program the coffeemaker to begin brewing when you wake up or at another time that's convenient for you.
  • Brew regular or bold coffee: Selectable brew strength allows precise preparation to suit your tastes.
  • Grab a cup before coffee is done brewing: Automatic pause and serve enables you to stop the brew cycle and pour a quick cup.
  • Prepare enough coffee for your guests: The 12-cup capacity allows you to brew beverages for a group.
  • Make a single cup: Use select K-Cups (not included) to facilitate brewing when you're in a hurry. Accommodates up to a 14-oz. travel mug for flexibility.
  • Ensure you don't leave the coffeemaker on: 2-hour auto shutoff promotes safe operation.

Q: I have a error on screen what is wrong

A: Err seems to mean it has too much water for the single cup and will stop instead of overflowing and dumping hot water all over the counter. When it happened to me, I found that I had overfilled the system when selecting single cup. To prevent overflowing, you are only allowed to have 14oz of water in the machine when you choose the single cup. I unplugged that machine to reset it (which may or may not have been necessary), but then turn the selector knob back to carafe to dump out whatever water was still in the system. At this point, the coffee maker was entirely empty of water and the err went away. When making a single cup, such as for a travel mug, just put the water into the travel mug and put only that much water into the machine. -Dan

Q: Can I make coffee and tea with this machine?

A: Yes. Use Keureg tea pods. Also can use leaf tea or bags in drip maker side, just requires more bags than expected.

Q: brewing single cup with ground coffee and not a K cup

A: Yes, it has a gold mesh filter for the single serve side as well

Q: DO YOU HAVE TO ADD WATER FOR EVERY SINGLE CUP

A: I get back the same amount of water that I put in. Works great

Q: Should the coffee maker be unplugged after every brewing is finished

A: This will not need to be unplugged after use.

Q: Is coffee as strong using kcup ,

A: Yes the coffee comes out hot. Easy to fill. No drama. . This allows me to make a single cup for myself and then a pot of coffee for students. I love it. I will buy another for my home eventually. . Read the instructions. If you want one cup of coffee, you only can pour in to the "single cup" line of water. If you fill more it will automatically fill the coffee pot and not the k-cup. Sounds simple, but the natural tendency is to fill the water port. If you do that, then it will not allow the k-cup to operate. You need to "low fill" for k-cup.

Q: Does the coffee come out nice and hot? Can you program how long the coffee maker keeps the coffee hot? Is it easy to fill it with water?

A: All of our coffeemakers brew between 175 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit. To fill the water reservoir, you simply open the door on the top of the appliance and use the carafe or a coffee mug to dump the desired amount of water into the appliance. The carafe side has a KEEP WARM mode of two hours after the coffee has been brewed.
