When I bought this as a gift for my wife , everything started out great. After only two weeks, the water filter started leaking, the k-cup pieces got stuck and now have to return it.

The Flexbrew is a great concept, but the unit I purchased was defective. I am going to order another one with the hope it is defect free. Unfortunately, since Best Buy was out of stock, I will have to go somewhere else to get one.

This coffee maker does not work like the salesman told us it would. We have not been happy with it. The reason we bought it is that most other coffee makers will not use the Kurig cups and this one will. The salesman told us we could fill it full of water and use it as we needed it. In truth, we have to add water for each cup when we make it. It doesn't always work right and it's unhandy. My husband and I have both been ill since we bought it or I would have taken it back.

It only lasted about 4 months then the k cup quit and maybe another month be for the whols thing dod

Loved it st first but then the plastic started to warp n spitting water everywhere

will not do either function with out reprograming or unplugging before changing fumction

it lasted all of 45 days. it overflowed on me and it takes forever with the k cup

Had problems with machine from 6 months in. And did not purchase a warranty. The single cup brew started giving error messages and just doesn’t work anymore.

I read reviews and some good some bad. Decided to try it, bad choice. The single cup will quit working, and if you try to make a single cup of Chi Latte the contents leak out before you can get the cup under it.

Coffee taste horrible through k cup side. Dosen't brew on k cup side even with right amount of water at times. And only 15 day return policy with best buy without extended warranty.

I think it is great to have both options of this coffee maker. I like the timer, the blue led light for the clock, and the auto shut off. The big downfall for me is after about a week, I notice a plastic type of taste and smell for the machine. I taste it in the coffee and "it taste how it smells" from the machine. I ran about five batches of water through it and that seemed to help it a bit. I am hoping it gets less noticeable as I use it

I loved that this coffee maker has both options - single-serve and 12-cups in one machine. The single serve uses pretty much any k-cup brand and also uses the pods as well. I was very pleasantly surprised that it also came with a reusable single-serve filter so I didn't have to purchase a separate reusable single-serve filter when I wanted to use my grounds instead of using a k-cup (this filter can also put those pods in it - giving it another option of using another form of single-serve and the pods tend to be cheaper than the K-cups but still more expensive than buying just the grounds). Just fair warning that when using the single-serve side, it comes out very hot (personal preference, but I like it coming out really hot as I'm one of those people who can have a cup of coffee sitting out for a while and when I get back to it, it is still pretty warm). The only downfall that I can see with this coffee maker is that you cannot fill up the water reservoir and then using the single-serve side. It is not smart enough to stop once it hits the one-cup mark when single-brewing and leave the remaining water for future uses, so I often put water in right before I make my coffee (single-serve or the carafe side).

I really like this coffee maker. It brews great coffee, it is quick, easy to clean and brews fairly hot. I love having the single cup option when I don't want to make a full pot. I also like that you can use your own grinds in the single serve cup and not just the pods. The only downside that I have seen is the bold option brews slower so I need to set the coffee to start earlier when I use that option. I ordered the re-usable filter because I don't care for using regular paper filters and that works great too.

This is a great coffee maker. I like the dual makers where you can use both a pod and the pot. In addition, it comes with a k-pod grinds maker where you can put the grinds in it if needed. Keeps coffee hot and turns off after a few hours. Helps me to not worry that I left the coffee pot on.

It gets the job done and I like that it takes up less space than previous models. We've used the carafe side several times and it works great. We used the 'single serve' this morning and noticed the carafe side getting hot as well. My bad...I should have thoroughly read the manual before proceeding as it does state that the "warming plate is hot even when using the single serve side." Everyone knows that you're not supposed to warm an empty carafe so this is the reason the coffee maker does not get 5 stars.

This coffee maker looks nice and functions as it says. In reading other reviews, I decided to go for it and it lived up to expectations. I am disappointed, as Others pointed out that it does not come with the travel mug as advertised. As well, I think that the hot plate getting hot when brewing a single cup on the other side is ridiculous, but I knew what I was buying.

My last Automatic Coffee Pots burner well burnt out, so I needed a new one and I wanted to get one with both a 12 cup pot and a single cup make. And I found what I was looking for with the Hamilton Beach - FlexBrew 12-Cup Coffeemaker. It uses the K Cups which are easy to get and also has a little cup for you to make from your own coffee. I had a Mr Coffee Gold Filter and it fits perfectly in the 12 cup side So I did not need to buy filters. The System makes good tasting Hot Coffee on both sides. I love it.

I love this coffee pot. I looked for a long time before I decided on this one. I'm the only one in my house who drinks coffee, but on the weekends like to enjoy an entire pot. My kids and husband use the k-cups often. The only downside is cleaning the K-cup holder, especially after hot chocolate. Other than that, I couldn't have asked for a better brew station. Well maybe if it also did espresso, but that's for another day!

Bought this for my husband and mother in law. Both drink coffee, but DH drinks one cup in the morning and MIL drinks on a pot all day. I needed a machine that they both could use. This one fit the bill perfectly! He can make his cup in the morning and she can make her pot after and have it all day. It was very easy to use even for the technically unsavvy in my household. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a coffee maker that does double duty.
