Great coffeemaker. Have had it for over 4 years now and still works like a charm!

bought coffee maker July 2015. K cup side worked OK, my wife managed to get coffee all over the counter and floor using it.. Now the machine leaks water all over the counter while brewing. I take it back to Best Buy and guess what, it's been more than 30 days and I have to deal with the manufacturer now. It's Saturday, and they are closed. Guess where I'm NOT buying my next coffee maker. I spent almost a hundred bucks for the frigging thing.

I searched all over for a coffee maker that brewed a full pot with the ability to brew a K-cup single cup. We use it all of the time.

Whether you are in the mood for a single cup or making a full pot for guests this maker works great. It brews very hot coffee which stays hot thanks to the warmer plate under the carafe. The only complaints that I have are 1. the warmer plate goes on even if brewing a k cup single serving and 2. You need to use filtered or bottled water otherwise the chlorine taste is overpowering. That may just be for my city water though.

I bought this machine thinking I was getting the best of both worlds but was sorely disappointed. First brew was just water to flush it out and a terrible plastic smell came from the machine and the carafe. Tried the single server, same thing. Flushed several pots of vinegar solution hoping it could be cleaned out to no avail. Started reading reviews and plenty of people experienced the same thing. Only advice was return and hope for a better made machine. returned to the store and exchanged for identical machine. Opened it then and there and smelled the plastic odor. I went through 4 boxes before I found one that didn't have it. First few brews still had faint plastic taste but then it subsided. Single serving side always had plastic taste (had read that plastic taste is BPA from inner plastic piping but never concretely confirmed it) and never worked properly so we just never used it. Got tired of returning it so just made carafe pots. Needed to be cleaned with vinegar solution almost monthly because 10 cups of water poured in resulted in a SLOWLY brewed carafe of 7.5 cups of coffee. Machine finally stopped working after about 8 months. Now using a $20 backup until I can get a worthy replacement, and it WON'T be this brand!

Coffee maker started to push out less water and more steam. The steam ruined the varnish finish on cupboards above where the coffee maker was. While it worked, it was good. But it has a life span of less than 4 months and we only brew one pot a day.

I purchased this product for its flexibility. It was about $60 cheaper than a Keurig. I have had the first unit replaced after just six weeks. Water would just leak onto the counter top. The replacement lasted about two months. The sensor was always beeping for the reason that the water was too full. I was able to repair the sensor and it worked for about another month. The puncture lever broke and we could no longer use k-cups. If you want a coffee maker that lets you brew a pot or just a cup....get a Keurig.

Allows for the flexibility for a single cup of joe and a full pot. Great purchase.

6 year old Keurig finally gave up. Purchased the new 2.0 (really wanting the carafe option). Coffee was HORRIBLE. Tasted like melted plastic. AND we couldn't use certain Kcups. Exchanged new Keurig for this. We were very sceptical. I am SO happy with this machine. We can brew any Kcup we choose, or brew a pot. The coffee tastes wonderful! Half the price, more options and better coffee!

Makes 12-cup coffee AND one cup at a time. Both options provide excellent results.

Really cool coffee maker, worth for the money you spend. I presented it to my friend as his birthday gift. He seemed satisfied and I give his way of rating only here.

Had this machine just a couple of months and the single serve K-cup side doesn't work well at all. Pour in a cup of water and get about one third out. What a piece of garbage. I wanted to return it for a refund but forgot that it was out of the return time period. I did buy the $15 geek squad "replacement" coverage but I would much rather just get my $$ back and get a machine that will work and isn't a cheep piece of garbage. Oh well its true what they say, You get what you pay for!!! Do Not, I repeat DO NOT buy one of these!!!

After going thru 3 of these, I had to upgrade to the Keurig! I wanted so badly for this to work but it didn't. Each one had the same problem. According to Hamilton Beach it was a "boiler"(I think).

If you expect it to last more than 30 days or brew more than 15 k cups don't buy worked great for a week

If you like a bitter cup of coffee this is the right machine for you. Nice concept but simply awful taste.

I have owned this product for a little over a year. It is the poorest built coffee maker I have owned. Shortly after purchase the lid warped over 3/8 of an inch (not very good looking). It overall built very poorly and is not consistent. The company would be most happy to warranty it if I would send this one back and pay them for what one costs them. I do not want another one, very poor company service.

I read a lot of review about this product and they weren't great but it was exactly what i was looking for so I took a chance. I was pleasantly surprised. The first one we got we couldn't get the pod dispenser out. We exchanged it and the new one was great.

The kcup side is not user friendly - very hard to work and the coffee is slow at brewing.

You have to put EXACTLY the right amount of water for the kcup to work and then it doesn't fill the cup all the way so you have to do the cycle again. The coffee pot part works great for my boyfriend but I wanted the kcup side for my tea and its more difficult to use than it should be.

Tried for 3 hours to get the thing to make a K-cup of coffee, err, too much water, over and over. Do not have the time to fuss with this type of stuff in the AM , on my way to work. Returned same day and bought another Keurig .
