I really love this product so far! I like being able to brew a cup or two before work and a full pot on the weekend! Very convenient! However, I just wish you could fill it with water and not have to fill it every time, for each single serve cup. If you pour too much water in, you get an error message and have to dump it out and start over. Other than that, it brews a mean cup of joe! Wish it would come with a sample pack of K-cups! :)

Bad plastic taste even after following cleaning instructions. Has taken 8 more cleanings but the smell and bad taste are going away.slow to fill single cup. Kuerig is faster.

The HB has better features than the Kurig. It uses the same K-cups that are sold all over. It comes with a basket for the K-cup section so you can use your own grounds. very economical. Instead of the 4 cup carafe the Kurig has this comes with a glass 12-cup pot, so it makes more at one time and uses your ouwn grounds. Easy to fill, makes great coffee and doesnt take up much space. I love it.

This is a really good coffee maker for the price. 12-cup carafe or single-serve using either grounds or k-cup. People have complained about strong plastic smell and taste, but I must have lucked out with my purchase. I didn't have that issue.

Great product both the typical coffee maker and the K Cup side work great. Two wonderful products rolled into one. So no matter how you want to start the day with lots of coffee, one cup or one cup of other great K Cup choices this product is the key!!

This is a pretty good coffee and k-cup system. Minimizes counter space vs. having a coffee pot and a separate Keurig system. The only downsides are it takes a little bit longer to brew using the k-cup side than the Keurig and you have to make sure you fill the water level limits (shown on side) precisely for the small and large cup limits or the K-Cup brewer will not brew. An additional note for K-cup side...ensure you manually push the K-Cup in the bottom so the needle on the bottom punctures your cup before sliding into the machine and locking it prior to brewing. Other than these small nuisances, it is a good machine.

Great little coffee pot with the exception that it seems that there was no consideration given to the amount of water retained by the coffee grounds while brewing. When using your own grounds on the KCUP SIDE there is a big possibility that you'll only received three quarters of the supplied cup.

Works okay with K-cups or regular coffee

We had an urgent need for a coffee maker when ours was misbehaving. This one does the job and is versatile, but it's not particularly fast. I'd say it is good for use as a regular drip coffee maker, with occasional K-cup use. If what's needed is a machine purely for K-cup use buy a Keurig.

I had this coffeemaker for about two months now. So far, so good. I like that it can do both pots and individual cups. If you live by yourself or you have a different taste of coffee than everyone else, this is your solution.
What I did not like about it is that you have to measure how much water you need to add to make your K-cup brew. Other coffeemaker that brew K-cups have this ability.
Another issue is that the coffeemaker comes with an insert (small strainer) to be used instead of the K-cup insert. I tried it a couple of time and the the coffee tasted like ... anything but coffee. I think it would have been better if they had the reusable K-cup lookalike.

Just the combination I was looking for!

This is the combination I was looking for! You can brew a pot of coffee or just one cup without having two separate machines on your counter. For the one cup, you can use the k-cups or your own brand of coffee in the permanent, single filter. The single side coffee could brew just a bit hotter so that it does not cool off so quickly. Also, it would be nice if you could fill the water reservoir and then brew each single cup in succession without having to put water in for each individual cup. I would definitely recommend this machine!
