Great product haven't had any problems with it yet

do not buy this product poor quality,it kept jaming.

This was purchased for its bottle opening capabilities. But that is the most disappointing part. It can only open two sizes. A water bottle size or a very large size. And neither of them work very well. BUT the can opener function does it's job and works fine.

Product arrived broken and was returned for refund.

This review is by the wife of ClaudeinVirginia. When we first purchased the can opener, we were dismayed by the ugly, unremovable sticker. We called H-B's customer support for advice on sticker removal, and they promised to send us a solvent. We waited 7 fruitless days for the solvent before writing our first negative review here (see ClaudeinVirginia). Well, on Day 8, an ounce of the solvent arrived as promised, and it worked almost instantly in removing the glue. The glue completely dissolves in the Goo Gone, without affecting the surface in any negative way (if fact, it sort of polished and cleaned the exterior while removing the glue). A few days later, H-B sent us a second bottle of Goo Gone. So now we have a super-quiet can opener that performs flawlessly and looks very attractive. H-B has great customer support. We now strongly recommend this can opener.

I absolutely love this Opening Station! I received it as a gift a couple of years ago and it functions wonderfully. I constantly use the jar top gripper, and no longer have to rely on my hubby to open jars for me. I also use the pop top opener frequently. It's so convenient to have all of these resources at hand in such a compact manner. My daughter liked it so much that I just purchased one for her. I would definitely buy this again.

No problems at all to mention. I am sorry to say that I haven't even used all the opener features yet. But it works great and it was convenient to shop on line to find the color I wanted to match my kitchen. I priced some at other stores but they only had white. The magnet is usually not strong enough to hold the lid once it is cut off the can.

of all the can openers I've owned over the years, this is the easiest one to use by far. no struggling to keep the can in place as it cuts and does the job in no time. the label was a bit garish but came off easily using my fingernail. I have yet to use the tools that come with it but they are there if needed. all in all a wonderful appliance

I had seen this can opener on a commercial a few months ago and decided to purchase one for my household. I'd read all the reviews about a giant sticker on it but wanted it anyway. I got my can opener a few days ago. It was very cold outside and when UPS dropped it off the can opener was freezing like it'd been in a freezer. Why is this important? Well with it being so cold outside the glue froze. It was a breeze to pull the sticker off. I just pulled up all sides slowly. Took all of 90 seconds. There were 2 minute spots where glue stayed and I just used a little rubbing alcohol to remove it. The finish is fine and my can opener is sticker free with ease. I guess one could try sitting the can opener in the fridge or freezer? I'm not sure. But all in all I love this product. So glad I found it.

Had bought another "trusted" brand elsewhere that just didn't work, so I was already frustrated. Then chose this brand and am so happy with everything about it! Of course, I was pretty easy to please... all I wanted was for it to open cans!

To the poster complaining about the sticky stuff left on the item...a little 'goo-gone' will take care of that issue for you. It's inexpensive and you can use it for a lot of other stuff, too! I got this as a gift from my daughter for Christmas...it works great, is quiet and looks great sitting on my counter. Compact design doesn't take up much space.

This can opener is great because it does so many things. It opens can, bottles, plastics, and cans. It is great and clean-up is a sinch.

Best can opener I've ever owned. Does a respectable job opening cans, but the additional opener tools, especially for plastic packaging, are brilliant. A very, very handy tool.

This opener grabs the can easily and cleans up well.

If I could give a zero I would! This was a gift from my son 2 years ago. I kept it because of that reason. It is weak and can not open a can with out being pre started. We call it powering up. It will not start until you beat on the little metal gear. Next, it must run for a while to pick up speed (without a can attached). Then, if you are quick enough you can attached the can and manually (in a very physical manner) help turn the can to open it. It will not work on its own with out assistance.

my boyfriend got me this as one of my gifts after me complaining about my can opener. its a great product although it has that huge sticker on it!! i tried to get it off while breaking my nail. and i dont have the patience to sit there for an hour with goo gone. and it looks corny keeping the sticker on there. i dont understand why hamilton beach would ruin this product.

It litereally opens anything, those impossible to open NASA wrapped plastic packages are no match for the cutting blade! It will open any bottle, any can, anything imaginable. BUY THIS!

This can opener is very attractive, opens cans well, is super quiet, and has a nifty gadget to open a variety of other devices besides cans (such as pop tops, beer bottles, plastic bags, screw tops). However, it has one terrible flaw. While not shown on the box's picture of the can opener, the actual can opener in the box has a permanent 4"x4" sticker advertising the merits of Hamilton Beach. You can soak this sticker and the paper part will eventually dissolve, leaving a sticky, gluey mess on your can opener. You can call Hamilton Beach who will say they are aware of the problem and that they will send you a special solvent to remove the glue, but you will not actually receive this promised solvent (at least not within 7 days of calling). Buy this product only if you have your own glue solvent.

Had to get a replacement after about 6 months. Does not grip,cans anymore. Very noisy

This item i would recommend to anyone it is such a great item and i love it so much great value for your money!!!
