I set it for a medium coffee grind, and it has been there every since. The hamper makes the process go quickly. Very easy, very quick and very convenient. I'm glad I bought it.

Good but messy!

Nice replacement for old simple grinder

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This has been great compared to my old simple (on/off switch) electric spice and coffee grinder. The new grinder uses a built-in scale to estimate the amount to grind for your number of desired cups and automatically stops at the specified weight. (You may select the amount in grams or ounces as well.) I'm still experimenting to find my preferred fineness/courseness grind setting. As others have noted, it sometimes generates quite a bit of static electrical charge in the ground coffee and a small amount of ground coffee may literally repel away from the container when pouring. This is physics. My previous grinder did this too. (I only have experience with these two electric grinders.)
