Looks nice but cheap

It makes coffee. The filter always folds in if I don’t get it wet before putting the grounds in. We took it on a trip because our hosts did not have a coffee maker. It served its purpose and the price was right. I’m going to donate it.

A good product for the piece. The only issue would be that it moves when taking out the coffee pot, Perhaps some non slip feet would help.

Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to review the Hamilton Beach - Coffee Maker - White. We appreciate your concern and wanted to let you know that there was a mistake in the specifications for this coffee maker. The specifications listed that it had an automatic shut off feature, when in fact it is does not. We have since corrected the error with the specification and sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. We hold ourselves to higher standards than this and want to make sure we meet the expectations created by our product dimensions in the future.

Was very happy with my coffee pot. Got it delivered to my house. Had no trouble getting it set up. Very happy with it.works wonderful.

HB screwed up the brewing head, and they refuse to fix it. If you fill the basket half full or more with coffee, you'll find grounds in your coffee. The water comes out with such force that it splashes the coffee grounds over the filter. Had an old model that died. Wish I had kept the Brew head. I have reported this to HB. No planned resolution.

I got one of these and used it....heavily, like 7-8 time a day. One day I used it 3x in a row and it died. I bought the same one again because it has a good look and no clock. As a basic coffee maker it makes good coffee!

definition of "permanent filter" at issue

I sorted Best Buy coffee makers for a permanent filter and chose this one. All Hamilton Beach documentation agrees, it's permanent. I must define the word differently. This coffee maker still requires a paper filter. A permanent filter is reusable and should be able to go into the dishwasher. I bought it ... didn't get further than the in-box paperwork to discover I needed #4 cone filters. Returned it. Another brand, calling their filter "reusable" is what I ended up with.
