Very good deal, but hard to clean

I like the versatility… I’ve even run Asian noodles through it that come out great. My only gripe is the mess. It is not an easy gadget to clean. Still, if one has patience and the proper tools the thing can be field stripped (not easily) to clean and VEGETABLE oil the rollers, screws, etc. so they don’t rust. Components are sturdy enough. Rust is my main worry. NOTE: my two stars for Ease of Use have nothing to do with making pasta, but the cleaning afterward.
