Works with my Yeti mic, tall and sturdy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This mic stand fits my yeti mic (5/8 inch thread) right out of the box and is very sturdy and weighted so it has no trouble holding the yeti which is considered a heavier mic. The end cap with threads on it that fit the yeti can be taken off to reveal a smaller set of threads for smaller microphones. I can set the stand to have the mic anywhere from my belly level to above my head by a foot. I'm 5' 10". I use this stand to record myself singing while playing acoustic guitar. Boom stands are great for guitar playing because they can get the mic between the face hole and the guitar hole.
