Mads Mikkelson and Hugh Dancy continue to redefine the characters of Hannibal and Will Graham respectively. Mads Mikkelson's performance is particularly compelling given how his unique and twisted version of Hannibal stands on par with Anthony Hopkins' take on the character which had previously seemed definitive.

Loaded with special features sure to please, this second season of Hannibal really takes home the cake. I didn't believe this show could improve after a phenomenal first season, but boy was I wrong. This is the ultimate Hannibal experience, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for brilliant captivating television.

If you have seen the first season, then you've got to see this! After that, get Season Three as well. You definitely need to watch it all in order for it to make sense, especially if you have never read the books by Thomas Harris or seen the movie adaptations. It's an incredible series.

Now, NBC has had a great success in Hannibal so far. Season 1 set up a fascinating world. But Season 2 brings us back for another great adventure. From start to finish, it brings in new players, new elements...and has a great cliffhanger that makes Season 3's wait hard to bear. Definitely a great show!

Hannibal S2 exceeded my expectations. Face it, this show was a gamble for NBC. Taking an iconic character like Hannibal Lechter and telling a backstory with old an new characters. After the last two seasons, I actually like Mads Mikkelson's portrayal of Hannibal than Anthony Hopkins later portrayals.

Hannibal is absolutely phenomenal; the cinematography is beautiful, the acting is superb, and the plot keeps even the most avid Fannibals on their toes. Bryan Fuller has flawlessly kept the story of Hannibal Lecter fresh and new, and done so in the most beautifully stylized show on television.

Twisted , dark and addictive. I wish another network picked up this show. Madds owns as Hannibal. Dancy is also amazing as Graham with an excellent cast, I can't recommend this to everyone, but for those with a taste for something a little darker might want to check this out.

I started this series not too long ago because it was on sale and I've never been happier that I did. It's legitimately one of the most beautiful shows out there. Filled with drama, science, murder, serial killers, and a tad of romance its really a fantastic show.

In my opinion, "SIlence of the Lambs" is one of the best films of all time and of course I love the fact they made a TV series centered around the "Red Dragon" film. This show features such incredible storylines and amazing performances by a group of talented actors.

Hannibal season 2 just re-affirmed that it's about as good as network TV can get. It takes a hint from cable and uses the 13 episode format with high grade production and top notch acting/writing/directing. If you like the genre or just good TV, this is a must see.

It took me a minute to get into Hannibal. Having been a huge fan of the Hannibal movies, I was really excited to see this come to the small screen. Season one was good but season two was great! The season finale was mind-blowing! Can't wait for season three!

This is one of the very best TV shows that I have come across. An absolutely thrilling drama that always keeps you on the edge of your seat. With the right amount darknesss and artistic landscape this is definitely a show I would recommend.

What a cinematic treat for a tv series. Beautifully acted, sumptuous food (though of dubious origins!), and a story line that will hook you. While not everyone will like this, those that do appreciate it are likely to love it.

In the first season you are introduced to hannibal lector and his patient will graham and this season continues the gory haunting and bloody relationship between these two damaged people and it all the more entertaining.

I was very disappointed when Hannibal ended after 3 seasons but at least I can watch those seasons again at my leisure. This was one of my favorite shows of all time. If you loved it too then you need to own this !

Based on the book series Hannibal, the show did not disappoint! Dark and artsy, not for the squeamish! Beautifully filmed and well acted, very dark...great price for the blue ray to add to any collectors library!

Season 2 of Hannibal is even better than the first one, the story plot has been moving forward. The entire season 2 is addicting, if you start watching the first episode you will not be able to stop. Highly recommended.

Instead of falling back on familiar formula from Season 1, Season 2 of Hannibal embarks on an entirely different story while still retaining the same look and feel we love from the first. A must buy item!

...and I loved the first season. While the first season introduced us to Will, this season really revolves around Hannibal. The darkest show on network tv. I still can't believe this isn't a cable series.
