I have been a fan for many years & this TV Series just makes me crave more Hannibal. The cast is amazing & this series is Art!

Bloody brilliant, pun intended, adaption of one of the best villainous sagas in pop culture. The great Mads Mikkelsen kills it as the urbane yet terrifying Doctor that plays out as a greatest hits piecing together of the novels. Hugh Dancy anchors and simmers as the show's barely hero (antihero?). The supporting players are top notch. Visually stunning, the images look good enough to eat, particularly and disquietingly the food - good luck getting some of those images out of your head. If you're a fan of the movies or novels there are a lot of little crumbs to love here, and any fan of the crime genre should get ready to devour. Ok, I'm done - sorry for all of the food puns.

What a great show that shows the back story of Hannibal. Love the blue ray

Very in death plot. Sadly canceled after 3 seasons.

I remember seeing this shows first season being sold at bestbuy, i was not intrested at the time. I went home and couldn't stop thinking how this film, the actor would match up to anthony hopkins brilliant performance in Hannibal. The actor of whome I never heard of mads Mickelson was brilliant! Hes no hopkins but quite convincing no the less. The story starts up slow, then with a series of murders and murderers. I held my breath in the cooking secens thinking to myself how scary it was to even imagine consuming human meat. What surprised me was that Hannibal was a therapist who also worked with the FBI as a crime scene advisor/investigator. great build up, great for horror and suspense seekers. A mix of law and order, CSI, bones. This is a show I would watch again (as I usually only watch once).

This is one of the most beautiful and brutal TV Shows ever made. The fact that this existed on Network Television is a minor miracle, and the fact that it last a full three seasons is a major miracle. Still, I would have liked to have seen where Bryan Fuller would have handled the Silence of the Lambs part of the storyline. As it is we get essentially all of Red Dragon and a re-sequenced Hannibal. This is an excellent show. The art and cinematography are excellent. The characters are well developed, and you are constantly on the edge of your seat waiting for Hannibal's next move. Truly this is a tour de force for Mads Mikkelsen and the reason you've been seeing more of him in film.

At first I wasn't sure how much I'd like this show as I'm not into much episodic murder of the week shows. This show starts off that way but by the end of the first season it laid its mythology ground work. By the end of season 2 I was fully onboard. What an outstanding show. It still has its murder of the week episodes but without spoiling much they do kind of tie into the mythology and advance the story. I can't wait to start season 3. My favorite shows: Game of Thrones, Carnivale, The Leftovers, Lost, Deadwood, Hannibal, Westworld, etc.

As a big fan of the original Thomas Harris books and the first three films made from them, I was more than a little apprehensive about the idea of turning the character Dr. Hannibal Lecter into an episodic television series, and on a main stream network no less. But this incredible show blew my very low expectations right out of the water and into television infamy. The hypnotic cast led by Mads Mikkelsen do the characters justice in a bizarre, alternate world version of the stories and characters created by Harris. It really shouldn’t work, but somehow it does. It's been a week since this particular box set was released with no reviews posted, which probably says something about how little this fantastic TV show was viewed when it aired on NBC. I was one of those people also, and did not watch it until about a month ago thanks to Amazon Prime, and what an amazing show this is. Everything from the acting, music, writing, and imagery is top notch, and had the series not been cancelled too soon (a revival is still possible), it would have been the definitive adaptation of Hannibal. This box set, as far as packaging goes, takes the previous three Blu-ray releases and gives it a slip case to house it altogether. Everything is identical to those releases, and all previous special features are still here. Nothing new is added here. This is a great option for those who have not seen the show or for the fans who haven't bought the previous sets.

The "Hannibal" three season box-set is the previous releases housed a uninspired slipcase. So if you purchased these season separately it's not really worth re-buying. If you are new to the party or are one of the proud few that watched this during it's original run, it's worth every penny. The term "cinematic" is the best way to describe the series, and these blu-rays are the only ways to watch them. The transfer is rich and detailed, with deep, grain- free black levels and a vibrate color scheme. The highlight is the sound design, so if you have a surround sound system, turn it on and up. No joke, this show may have one of the best sound designs I have ever heard, a detail that was lost on me during the original broadcast. Plus they have added some very cool bells and whistles, including an unaired episode and producer cuts. Considering the price-point, it's kind of a steal.

Visually, artfully, spectacular and ominously dark, Hannibal is one of those shows that doesn’t come around very often; there are no wasted moments in any of the 39 episodes that comprises the series. It’s unfortunate the series isn’t longer, but what we got was perfect - including the ending. Stellar casting, especially Mads Mikkelsen, who will make you forget all about Anthony Hopkins’s portrayal of the famous cannibal (no easy task).

One of the most well produced and well acted series ever made for network television. Kudos to NBC for releasing this production but, as we all know, once you have been moved to Saturday night you're pretty much done for. Still a great adult drama and often pushed the boundaries of violence and gore. Pardon the pun, but you will need a strong stomach to truly appreciate the series. Cancelled too soon!

One of the best tv shows ever created! It's a combination of thriller, psychological horror, and a bit of a cop show vibe. Mads and Hugh are incredible, Mads especially with his portrayal of a younger Hannibal Lecter. It's a slow-burner plot, but it's well worth it and I'd recommend it to anyone. 10/10.

Really love this series and the villian of course. Rest wish it lasted or picked else to continue the story. I wanted more, and still do!! Strong acting, cast, story line, and shock value!! To me this series is like Hannibal (2001) and Red Dragon all mixed into one series

The show is great. Mads mikelsson is absolutely fantastic in the role. There is a lot more gore than I thought there'd be for a network tv show. If your a fan of Hannibal or any horror movies/tv shows that hold no punches this is a great watch. Enjoyed every minute of it.

It's a shame that Hannibal got cancelled after the 3rd season. I'm still holding out hope that a 4th season will show up on Amazon Prime someday, but considering all the other projects that the actors are doing, I'm not holding my breath. I'm happy to have the box set though. P.S the digital copy code in mine didn't work for the 3rd season, just a heads up.

After having originally watched this show on NBC, I couldn't wait for it to be released on Blu Ray. A very smart show with outstanding performances (especially by Mads, the actor that portrays Hannibal). This show keeps you on the edge of your seat!

Amazing show, sad it got cancelled I hope they bring it back, the set itself is fine, it's just the individual seasons in a sleeve. Not a fan of the cover art so I'll probably just keep the seasons. It was cheaper to get them all this way.

All three seasons in one set. Glad I held off getting individual seasons. Best buy had a great deal on this one!!! Many shows go on for too long and lose their luster. This is a great show and could have had another 1-2 years though!!

Really well made television show, a great take on the Hannibal character. The seasons come in individually wrapped blu rays, inside a kind of flimsy large slip cover case. Kind of a cheap slip, but other than that, great!
