Revenge can be a real witch! This is a twist on the classic fairy tale of Hansel & Gretel where the kids are now grown up and want vengeance on the witches that are terrorizing the countryside. However, their family has some terrible secrets of their own that puts a plot twist into place that Le Femme Nikita could be proud of! Jeremy Renner(Hawkeye from Avengers) and Fammke Jannsen(Jean Grey/Phoenix from X-Men) star in this scary, action packed fantasy with excellent CGI/special effects! This movie is rated R for violence, nudity, and language but mainly for violence.

A fun horror flick which made the most of its R rating and 3D shooting. The only bad part is that the official director's cut is only available in the 2D version. WTF? So, the only thing you can experience in 3D is the trimmed theatrical version? Lame. Obviously the extra footage was already captured in 3D so if you didn't want to go through the damned expense of digital conversion then this footage should've been left as 2D withing a 3D version. Poor, poor judgement.

You know the stories, but one is a twist and turns, many , many years later. The children aren't children any more. There harder hunters. Many years there services are need once more. The reasons and cases are strange and so are there past to. So they stop a disaster from to happen, with so unorthodox help and they discovered, a secret to.

It has been a long time since I have not been disappointed in a movie. A lot of movies seem to have the same story line as other movies so you always know what to expect. I hate seeing good previews on tv and watch the movie just to find out those were the ONLY good parts to the movie This movie has a lot of action that keeps you interested in it the entire time. Its not a movie where you think "when is it going to pick up and get to the good parts". I watched it in theater and for the first time in a long time I felt like I got my moneys worth. Would recommend this movie to others.

This is a twist on the story of Hansel & Gretel. There are some very interesting weapons in use. Lots of action and nasty witches.

This is one of those movies that came and went with little fanfare. I was interested enough to keep it on my radar so when it hit home video, I would give it a watch. It is right up my alley, genre wise, and I didn't have any expectations going into it. If you want to be entertained with mindless historical action/horror(?), this is the film for you. If you were expecting a thought provoking period piece, you probably knew what to expect before you even started (It is called Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters for a reason). I enjoyed and I think anyone who likes this type of movie will as well.

I hadn't had the good fortune of seeing this movie in the theater, but have come to really appreciate it on blu ray. For what it is, it's a very entertaining movie. It delivers and is never boring. A blast to watch. It definitely won me over. The 4K transfer is absolutely gorgeous. I thought the 1080 blu ray looked good, but 4K takes to another level. The audio is just as impressive. Bombastic and tough. Get it.

Another great movie that has been converted and produced in 4K Ultra HD. The Artwork on the case sleeve is very nice. It is very high quality. This is a great movie that is a fan of action or horror movies. It is a twist on a timeless story that we all know. I would recommend this movie to anyone that wants to watch their movies in the highest quality currently available.

This was a very good-looking disc with great audio. Even though it doesn't have Atmos, the 5.1 mix is one of the best I've heard, with tons of panning effects and great use of surrounds. Colors just leap out of the screen, with lush greens and reds. There's a good amount of gore too, making for an enjoyable movie.

I really like this movie. It's an action flick set in a strange world of fantasy and magic. Anyone who likes these 2 genre won't be disappointed. The actors are great and the story, even though it is one dimensional does not reduce the movie, rather allows the action and imagery to take center stage.

This Movie Really ramps up! Actually, the coolest visuals are when the movie Ends! The visual effects are incredible! But, the 4K disc, only has the theatrical version, and the blu-ray disc has the unrated cut of the movie. Other than that, the whole movie, every time I have seen it, makes me laugh. Other than that, the movie looks awesome!
