Definitely not for everyone but my family enjoyed it. Won't let our 7 year old daughter watch it due to the "scary witches" factor and the blood and guts. It had a "cheesy" feel to it at times but the action is fun and the little comments were alright and hubby and I have watched it numerous times now and would watch it yet again.

O.K. Movie Nice to see Famke Jansen playing something other than pretty face!

Ok ok! I know people hates this movie but this movie is a guilty pleasure of mines. I really enjoyed it because it added a twist to Hansel and gretel . The hdr and Dolby vision plus the 4k upgrade done a spectacular job on this movie.

I originally saw this movie in the theater with my wife. I liked it enough to purchase the bluray for my collection. This review purposely contains no spoilers. The concept is probably the most interesting thing about this movie. The acting was good for what many would consider a B-movie. The ending was a decent setup for a second, however I doubt a sequel will be made anytime soon.

This is a good spin on Hansel & Gretel. The action and story were well done.

This movie owns what it is and doesn't try to be otherwise. It's good gory fun and doesn't pull any punches. It doesn't try to play to the fairy tale. The title charecters get the snot beat out of them but give as good as the get. THIS MOVIE HAS A LOT OF TO THE POINT GUN FIRE,GREAT AUDIO,THE BROTHER AND SISTER TEAM/HANSEL AND GRETEL WORK GREAT TOGETHER AS WITCH HUNTER'S OUT FOR REVENGE FROM THE HAUNTING PAST OF THIER CHILDHOOD ENCOUTER'S WITH THE MOST POWERFUL AND EVIL WITCH IN THE VILLAGE,THIS IS A VERY FAST PACED MOVIE,WITH OKAY,GET BY KIND OF ACTING,BUT GREAT TO THE POINT GUN'S,SHOOTING AND ACTION!!!!!

The 4K Blu-ray is fantastic the scenery and people look crystal clear very nice the audio was the same as the regular Blu-ray NO ATMOS . I wish they would of did some work on the audio but it was still good. The movie itself was fantastic good story and good acting , cool fantasy flick I highly recommend.

Pretty good movie with an interesting story line. Jeremy Renner is a good pick for the action flick and Gemma Arterton is an amazing woman -- lots of gore and violence which is kind of funny in a way when you deal with witches. Not sure they needed the cursing and foul-mouthed language in it but the rest of the movie was good.

I grew up with fairy-tales and bed-time stories when I was a little kid, but this movie takes it to a new violent & action-filled level of awww yeah!!! Everything today has to win awards & be critically freaking acclaimed. Boring!!! This movie is a fun & wild screaming fantasy-filled ride about fantasy characters I enjoy watching. I hope they make a sequel to this someday. It Rockz & Frickin' Rollz!!!!

Okay price for addition to the library of Blu ray videos.

I really enjoyed this movie. I wasn't so excited about it when it hit the theaters and didn't go see it. My son told me it was very good, so when I saw it at Best Buy in 3D, I decided to take a chance. I do enjoy good 3D movies at home, so it wasn't a big change. Anyway, the movie is actually very good. Great acting and a good plot. Some very funny things happen too. I've watched it twice now and can see myself watching again and again. Enjoy!

Remember the old story of Hansel and Gretel, well, this kicks it up a notch. I wasn't sure I was going to like it, which is why I never saw it when it was in theaters, but in all honestly, it far exceeded my expectations. There is a lot of blood and some adult scenes, so it's definitely not a kid-oriented film and if you are a fan of twisting the G rated children's stories into something exciting for adults, this will fit the bill.

I heard about this film when it was in theaters and was looking forward to seeing it. Didn't get a chance to until dvd...despite the bad reviews it had received i found it to be entertaining which it set out to do and glad i purchased it.

The movie has some action, some special effects and some humor. It is a very unique take on the Hansel and Gretel story that most people grew up with and that makes it worth the watch. The price is right and the movie is decent, that makes this worth adding to your collection.

What happened after Hansel and Gretel escaped from the witch? They went hunting other witches, of course. The famous pair make a name for themselves as witch hunters, while the witches plan to take ultimate power and rid themselves of their greatest foes. 2 hours of mindless fun.

Fairy tales re-imagined as hi-concept action/horror fare is all the rage these days but thankfully Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters doesn't disappoint. Full of action throughout, which is good as the constant action keeps you from pondering the interesting but thin plot.
