This is an irreverent, snarky, journey into the fantasy world of the Brothers Grimm. Its charm is that it doesn't take itself too seriously, and neither should the audience. Even this "unrated" version is still only PG-13. I would have been interested to see a darker, harder R-rated treatment of the subject material.

Not the classic Hansel & Gretel fairy tale but a great 'edge-of-your-seat' thriller.

I am a fiction movie fanatic and like the way this movie present the Hansel and Gretel child story into a adult fiction movie.
