Action, Action, and more ACTION. Kill the bad witches and love the good one. Spells, swords, GUNs, crossbow bolts flying, gadets of all kinds H&G are tarring it up in old Europe to hunt down and kill the old evil witches whom have been terrorizing villeges, roadsides, and forest dwellers all over. Get ready for good old world justice.

This falls into the category of a good B movie for me. It has enough wit in it that I couldn't take it seriously even though there are some very violent scenes in it. But, for me at least, that comedic relief is great. Entertaining.

A rather oddball retelling of the classic fairytale, but with the pair as grownup witch hunters. The story is interesting and the acting quite good. If you like twisted fairytales, you will love this one.

Fun movie with upgraded picture quality. The 4K UHD provides a uptick in picture quality and color and a nice, crisp 5.1 sound mix.

Hansel and Gretel is a half action half fairytale that takes on a whole new and twist on a classic story. I good film that will keep you entertained. Both led actors shine in this movie of a reimagining of a a old time tale.

This was a good action movie but it lacked originality. Yes, it was based on a classic story, but it didn't offer enough of a twist to make it truly original. That said, the effects were good, the acting was decent, and the characers were enjoyable.

I love all the old fairy tales that are receiving makeovers these days but was really surprised when this one used so much profanity. It would have been nice if they would have kept it more family friendly, otherwise not a bad new twist!

If you like some of the fantasy action movies for a little light entertainment, you will like this movie. We saw it in the theater and at Best Buy it was on sale; so we decided to add it to our movie collection.

This is still today one of the coolest action and witch hunting movies I have ever seen. Simply loved the plot and action scenes in this movie. You will not be disappointed that you purchased!

C'mon a house made of candy in the middle if the forest? The story is okay, I get it, it had to match the book. Special effects and humor make it a good entertainment.

Want to just sit back and watch a bit of action, this is the movie for you. A movie that doesn't take itself seriously and was not written to be award winning, it is fun and worth a watch.

I grew up with Grimm fairy tales. Now that I'm grown, this is more my speed. How to describe it? Think in terms of a family outing, where exploding witches take the place of a friendly game of tag.

I bought this movie on sale, did not expect much but I have to admit....it was pretty good, it has a lot of sci-fi and there is a story that I definitely like. A good movie to have.

Great action packed movie. The action never stops and the acting is superb. The plot takes you from the early years to adulthood and explains why the hunters act the way they do and what motivates them. The witches all have various hideous looks and the graphics are great.

Rather surprised that this got a 4K release. Nevertheless, it's a fun take on the classic tale and a fitting followup to Wirkola's "Dead Snow."

This film has some great special effects. I love the fantasy elements of the movie, witch hunters, witches, and trolls. Turn your brain off for awhile and enjoy the adventure.
