Long out of print sci-fi film finally comes to DVD. Depicting a post-apocalyptic world made on a modest budget by cult director Richard Stanley (Dust Devil). Main characters are played by Dylan McDermott and Stacey Travis with Iggy Pop as a radio personality. Lemmy from Motorhead has a brief role and John Lynch as "Shades". William Hootkins steals the show as the sleazy neighbor. The film has a strong doom and gloom feel as McDermott brings home electronic junk for Travis to sculpt with not knowing it's part of a high-tech killing machine. The film was not well-received when released in 1990 and has gained a strong cult status since. The disc has an excellent widescreen print of the film and is highly recommended for fans of this genre.
