Great album. Band has gone back to their roots in this one. Straight jamming with great lyrics and the undeniable Metallica sound. Age has got nothing on these guys!

In my opinion this is the Metallica record that you can go back to and listen intently. All styles are covered and the songs finally hold up (it's been a while).

I have always been a Metallica fan. When I saw they had a new album, I was wondering if they would still sound good, actually even concerned a bit. This album is good. They guys sound great. It doesn't disappoint!

Metallica is the best band in metal and continue their tradition of doing what they want. With great sound and solid songwriting, it is a Metallica masterpiece.

Metallica keeps upping the pace with this new release. I do suggest the 3 disc version that has lots of bonus live tracks. Metallica fans won't be disappointed!

If you've been a Metallica fan since the beginnning, not all of the songs on their latest album will appeal to you. Grab this 2CD set if you want to continue your CD collection, otherwise go for the vinyl!

This is a solid album. As a diehard fan I realize that even the almighty Metallica needs to stay current. We all wish they would stick to thrash, but these guys aren't twenty years old anymore. Good album.

Didn't expect to like it as much as I do. Sometimes things seem a bit too long just for the sake of being longer. Overall, it has pieces of all the things I've loved about Metallica throughout their career.

This was a gift for our son for Christmas. He has loaded the album into his music folder and listened to the album often since then and enjoys the album.

A return to thrashier days, heavy riffs, better lyrics, gets better by the listen... I would recommend this to a friend in fact I bought it for a friend

Thank you to Metallica for this long awaited gem. The album rocks on all levels and seriously Hammett's riffs and solos as good as ever. Two thumbs up.

Another excellent Metallica album on the heels of Death Magnetic. They return to the sound and style that made them the monster they are now. Love it!

I was surprised to find this new music album at Best Buy. The music selection that Best Buy now offers has really gone downhill and is disappointing!

I like it. rocks hard typical Metallica always bring their best. Dont like it as much as the "black " album or justice for all. but still fantastic

By far the best Metallica album in 20 years. I feel like I'm listening to Ride the Lightning meet the Black album. I'm super happy with this album.

Metallica's sound has changed quite a bit, but the new addition has given Metallica an even more unique sound! Well worth the wait!

Christmas gift for him and although he hasn't heard the whole cd yet he has heard some songs from it. He seems to enjoy them. I'm excited to see his reaction when he opens it Christmas morning.

This was not their best, but at least it is not St. Anger. I was so impressed with Death Magnetic that I had my hopes up too high. But it is still great Metallica, and a double album to boot.

This is another excellent cd from Metallica. They were actually the first band I ever saw in concert. This cd rocks and every track is awesome!
