Great movie for CGI SCI FI Fantasy cravers. Film has mesmerizing sequences of action & detail depth. Story plot is not all that catchy (in my opinion) but creativity of ideas & (again) action scenes kept me glued to my seat eyes transfixed to my screen. Buy this one fellow cravers. Fill your eyes into your minds another space dimension getaway blast. More!! We want MORE!!!

I enjoyed the movie on Netflix, so I bought the blu ray. Dvd is ls also included. A mini book was also included. I am pleased with my purchase

I hadnt even heard of this when I purchased it, so I didnt really expect anything from it. bought it on clearance for 5 bucks and it was worth just that.

Great movie and definitely worth the price (goes on sale around $6-8 regularly). The animation is excellent and it really brings you back to the older Harlock series.

I love this movie so much. I am not a fan of CGI or space anime but for some reason just loved this. It has such an interesting story in my opinion. They had on netflix at one point if it is still there check it out and then go buy if you liked it.

I had passed this movie up several times as to the fact that I am trying to transfer all my dvds to blurays. I thought why buy another dvd.....but Im glad I did. The movie content was the best with an awesome story plot and great animation. If I could I would give 10 stars.

The computer graphics were awsom in this movie had action from the moment go and had a very good story line this is an Anime movie I think anyone would like if your a fan of sci-fi, anime, or just enjoy movies with good story lines and animation.

This is not the 154 minute version of the movie currently running on Netflix. It is a shorter version. About 115 minutes. Still get plenty of story and great art work. It will hold you over until the full dubbed version comes to the states.

This movie was a great watch and well worth the low charge. Brought movies before for 20-30 bucks to give a shot but 13 bucks gave me entertainment that I actually watched twice. Buy it, you know you want to!!!!!

Beautifully channels the feel of an old 80's scifi anime through the impressive lens of modern cgi. With a deep story and impressive ship battle sequences Space Pirate Harlock is a must watch for anime fans

Had a friend that was always talking about this comic so I finally took a shot at watching and I am impressed. The art is fantastic and the story is well thought out.

First, must be said I have specific tastes in Anime. That being said, Engrossing story, great characters, nice animation, left me wanting more...and a sequel.

This anime has elements that i am a fan of: pirates, sci-fi, and action. This is a new original CGI animated film,a re-boot based on the old amine series Space Pirate Captain Harlock.

Great movie, been waiting for this one to come out in the USA, need to release more like it like Yamato 2199, Yamato Resurrection, Macross 7, Macross Frontier, Yukikaze, etc.

I loved the story. The animation was great. Just when you think you know someone, they totally flips the script. This will be on My regular rotation. Set Sails!!!!

This film got me into Space Pirate Harlock. It is (inappropriate language) awesome!

This was an Excellent movie worth the purchase price, Watched it 3 times in a roll the first night, Caution it is a foreign language movie reading will be involved.

An a huge anime fan, I truly enjoyed this latest iteration of Space Pirate Captain Harlock. I would recommend this DVD to die hard fans and those new to anime.

Another in the Anime world one has to see. It's "Jack Sparrow" takes to space... The story leaves room for more and hopefully it will follow...

Great story. Love the action involved. The special effects are amazing through the whole movie. This is a must have if you like space movies.
