Best bang for your buck. The bass is amazing. And it is louder than other speakers in its category. At the loudest volume it is still clear and bassy. The Sony ULT 5 in comparison has the features of its app, the lighting, dustproof, waterproof but the bass and sound quality are better with the Harman Kardon.

Great quality sound packed inymto this compact speaker is an incredible value.

Stopped working after 2 months of light use. It seems as though the charging connection is loose, however, it went from 2 bars to nothing suddenly and hasn’t turned on or charged since.

Looks nice, its quite heavy from its look and it bangs clean with some heavy bass to it. Suggestion: Maybe on their next upgrade, they can add an "Extra Bass" button to it? Battery life is OK. (I play it loud so mine doesn't last the 8 hrs) but it does charge quickly. Would highly recommend.

This is a seriously underrated speakers that more people need to know about. The sound is excellent with tight bass, clear midrange and sparkly highs. It easily fills a medium sized room and can be connected via Bluetooth as well as aux. With aux connection, the latency is imperceptible so it can even used as desktop speaker which I use it as sometimes. Overall, this is a worthy and one of the best additions to my Bluetooth speaker collection.

This is our second Harmon Kardon portable wireless speaker. We wanted to upgrade and we can't recommend this one enough!!!! It's truly amazing. It has a nice room filling quality which is just right for our large living room. Battery life is very good. The portability makes this a fun, seamless wireless speaker where ever we take it. Quality sound! So happy we bought it!

This speaker sounds absolutely magnificent for its size. The sound accuracy is comparable to my floor-standing systems, yet it is less fatiguing during long listening sessions. The vocals are transmitted superbly — natural, full, and alive. The low frequencies are musical and expressive, not just humming or booming, which is extremely rare even for large systems. I bought the third version with high expectations after seeing the improved specifications, but eventually returned it. Yes, its bass is deeper, but it has lost its musicality — when a track has many low-frequency instruments, everything turns into a mess. Moreover, the highs are overly boosted and the mids are recessed, making vocals unbearable to listen to — there’s simply no voice. In character, the third model is closer to JBL — powerful, but soulless. The second one, however, is exactly the Harman Kardon I love: musical, accurate, and incredibly pleasant to the ear.

This is a really cool device at first my reading was it was gonna be about 3 1/2 maybe before but because of the sound when I had it on my desk, but I have to give it a full five because when I take it outside or in a large room this thing really kicks it’s it’s amazing. It’s not designed for small environment. It really makes sense outdoors or a larger environment because it needs more room to breathe with the woofers in and everything so it’s been amazing. I love it. I think it’s super cool. I think they should make one. That’s a higher step like a bigger one with a bigger subwoofer that would be killer so I love it great device.

Great speaker! The sounds is crisp and clean without too much bass. The size is great because it can still travel but it also is large enough to fill a room when on full volume. Even three or four rooms away the sound is clear.

Picked this speaker up for an intimate Birthday Celebration and it is worth every dime! Sound is crisp and bass is perfect!

If you are looking for a speaker that doesnt need to be fully weather resistant, this is your choice. As a big audio guy/speaker nerd I will tell you this is my go to speaker for anything away from my listening setup. 100% worth the buy.

Though this speaker is a bit heavy it sounds AMAZING! So much clarity, bass and volume!!
