Customers find value in the HK Citation 100 Google Voice Speaker's exceptional sound quality and impressive bass response, frequently praising its ease of use and volume. However, some users experienced challenges with connectivity and Bluetooth pairing, while others found the speaker's size to be larger than anticipated. A few also reported difficulties with initial setup. Overall, the positive feedback on sound quality outweighs the negative comments regarding connectivity and size.

Device was dirty with fingerprints, box on inside not outside was oily. Very unhappy with condition. First time I have ever experience this with Best Buy. When I returned it to store in Stockton CA the cashier kept a smile but it was no big deal. The outside of box was clean, taped up real good

I purchased two Citation 100s when they were recently on sale with the goal of using them as a stereo pair in my garage home gym.
Currently most of my house is connected with various google home mini speakers and sonos speakers to allow for whole home audio. However I was looking for something that might get a little louder in the garage with it being a larger space and often having fans running, so I thought I would give the Citations a try.
Setup was fairly straightforward with the google home app and connecting them to my network. I also paired them to my firestick via bluetooth so that I could listen to the TV through the speakers as well.
Pros:
1 - In stereo pair the speakers sound great
2 - Having google assistant is handy for changing the music or
getting other information handsfree
3 - The speakers have plenty of volume to fill the space
4 - The overall look (from a distance is nice)
Cons:
1 - There is no EQ adjustment option and I find that the bass can actually be too boomy and overpower the rest of the music on some tracks
2 - The controls on the top of the speaker are not very sensitive so I end up using my phone instead
3 - I did experience occasional (limited) issues with the speakers not being fully in sync in stereo pair.
4 - There is noticeable lag in the bluetooth connection, so watching TV connected via bluetooth doesn't really work at all
Overall, I will be keeping these speakers as they do sound good most of the time, unless you have bass heavy track. I do like having the ability to control them with google assistant. I do think my sonos play 1s have a slightly better sound profile (clearer) than the Citations. If they added the ability to adjust the EQ maybe these could compete better.

Loved these speakers so much i bought 4 100’s. They had a crazy deal during covid. The 100’s were $50 each, the stereo surround were 50 too, the sound bar were 100 each(usually 1200 so i bought 2), the sub was 200(originally 1000), the massive towers were 499(usually 2k)… its safe to say, my house THUMPS LIKE I GOT GORILLAS IN THE TRUNK!. Everyone tries to find them but can’t anymore. I’ll eventually get the sonos Arc but when they blow out but so far i LOVE them.

Speaker is medium loud, but very clear. Decent bass, but not earth shattering. Google assistant can fail to connect to Google Mesh WIFI do to the nature of it's smart WIFI switching the frequency band. Worked just fine on Netgear Nighthawk r8000p & r7000 routers. Good speaker, overpriced @ $349. Bought for $99 and performs at that price point. Similar to the Google home speaker performance but a little louder.

Great sound & design. Much larger than the pictures show but I feel this also helps produce better bass. Was slightly difficult to setup initially but when it was finally complete the speaker is simple to use. Design looks more elegant than a normal speaker so it is wife approved!!

This is an amazing speaker (especially if you catch it on sale). It is on the larger side but it pays massive dividends on the sound quality. The speaker provides loads of bass with just the right amount of high end sparkle. I use them in a stereo pair in my dining room and I'm more than happy with the sound quality and volume level. I tested them against a pair of Sonos Ones in a stereo configuration and preferred the Citation 100's overall sound quality, ease of use and Google integration. At their sale price there's more than $150 to be saved going with a pair of Citation 100's compared to the cost of a pair of Sonos One's. I highly recommend this speaker.

I absolutely love this Harman Kardon with Google Voice Speaker it literally replaced my regular Google Home Speaker and the sound it creates it's so much richer and full of bass. I cannot recommend this speaker enough, its tower look makes it look great in our living room and the chalk grey color lives up to Google Home's original color which I very much like. A+++ Sound from a Premium speaker, set-up was a breeze pretty much 1, 2, 3 and boom boom boom baby!!!

I gave it a 4 out of 5 because I don't think it's the perfect product.
But I like the ease of use, easy connectivity, and the sound quality.
I probably prefer it having a rechargeable batter so that it is not continuously plugged in to my electrical socket which continuously uses electricity while in idle mode.
I still recommend it though.

Great Sound - Poor Connectivity

I'll start off by saying: The speaker has EXCELLENT sound. Good bass -- Clean audio -- Overall a very pleasing speaker.
The one issue is the connectivity. I understand this is not a top-of-the-line speaker, but the issues with connectivity are HORRENDOUS for any room speaker. It will cut sound sporadically. It will produce a static-like noise from time to time. I've tried to have this fixed, but I can't seem to find a permanent solution to the issues.
I've also had to mute the speaker since the voice assist will randomly cue in the middle of the night. I think this is just an issue of 'growing pains' with the early model Google Assist products.

Almost similar sound to Bose. It has extra bass sound but it cannot beat the smooth sound of Bose speakers. I had a hard time pairing with any blue tooth devices. Too expensive if you pay regular price.

This is good speaker at full price but a great speaker if you catch it on sale. I caught it on sale at a great price. The only issue I had is the Google voice listening sensitivity. It has great bass with decent peak volume. The highs could be better

So pretty much the same system as a echo. Just on steroids. This thing is huge. About the size of an average vase. The only thing is the volume. It has amazing bass and treble. Except when we tell Google to go from 8 to 7 (1-10 being the options on the volume) it sounds like 7 sounds like 5. It drastically lowers it. 10 sounds really good and will echo throughout the house for sure! Aside from the volume its powered by Harman kardon so its definitely worth the money, if this item is on sale!
