Bought this on major sale and we are very happy with it so far. The sound isn't tinny or hollow, it has depth and great bass. Pairs with our devices without any hassle. Haven't had it for long enough to tell how battery life is yet.

I first saw this speaker at a friend's house a couple of years ago. When he told me the price he paid I wrote it off. I saw it again at my father's house and he had 2! Naturally I asked for one of them but he loved them so much he told me to get my own. Fast forward to now and Best Buy ran these on sale for Black Friday for $150 so I had to get one! My first song was Michael Jackson's Off The Wall. I turned the volume up and it had my entire downstairs sounding like a concert. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this speaker!!! Loud and clear, what more could you ask for from a bluetooth speaker?!

There are many speakers out there but, Harman Kardon got it right! I use this speaker with my tablet and smart phone and the sound is amazing. It has great low end bass and clarity. It's lightweight and easy to take with you. I haven't maxed out the battery life yet but, I plan to see how long it will actually last soon. This was definitely worth the money and the 30min drive across town to pick up the last one in Best Buy's inventory.

This speaker is not incredibly great for portable use since the battery does tend to go pretty quick in comparison to the competition (UE Megaboom and JBL Xtreme), but it has the most elegant design, and the sound quality is pretty uniform. The sound is pretty flat, just as you'd expect with an equalizer that hasn't yet been modified. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this to anyone except perhaps audiophiles is that its price is simply hard to justify purchasing.

Got these in the Thanksgiving deal, couldnt have asked for more. Awesome clean sound, excellent bass and the sound doesnt get distorted at all even at the loudest volume. I have a couple of observations though, I have noticed occasional drop in sound, I know wireless speakers will have this issue once in a while, but it was frequent enough for me to mention it. Also I would have expected a originally priced at $449 speakers to be a bit more loud at the max volume. But these are minor complaints. I have hooked these up with my TV and cant go back to the original sound anymore!

Great base and sound. Very easy to use. I was so impressed I bought second as app can make them left and right or link them for party mode. Overall great speakers especially with sale price.

I've come around lots of speakers from the lg pk7, Sony xb41, jbl xtreme, Bose speakers and from my personal and from friends who have come over they have all hail the onyx 4 as the best portable speaker out there doing is rich bass is perfect durable great design even better than the onyx 5 if u can get this at a sale price u won't be dissapointed this is a beast of a speaker and no speaker in its class comes even close

My girl was bugging me she wanted a speaker for the kitchen so I got her this speaker and let me tell you she loves it, great sound, great bass, and great connectivity on blue tooth

Got this bad boy on a super sale, read a bunch of reviews on the Best Buy site and others and kept reading how phenomenal the sound was, so I picked this up to pair with an iPad to use for movies/streaming TV. I tested it with some movie clips and music and the range on this speaker is excellent, very easy to set up, and was just blown away at the quality of the sound. The size is slightly big and not ideal for toting it around to the park or beach, but moving from room-to-room around the house will work great. And considering the sale price, you'd be hard pressed to find a better quality speaker for the money.

This Bluetooth speaker introduces me to a high-fidelity sound experience. At first, I was a little weary of the price but after I brought it home, I tested the speaker with a broad spectrum of music, classified by listening in on the highs, lows and mids. I did notice that it's a little quieter than speakers in its grade but the quality of the sound: whether it was music, voice casts, even movies, it delivered a powerful bass that did not sound tinny. Ultimately, this speaker from Harman/Kardon lives up to it reputation, delivering powerful sound and immerses you in an experience that will leave you smiling.

I love This speaker! It sounds amazing and has crisp quality and great bass. It has Bluetooth connectivity and a lasting battery life. My only problem with this speaker was the size. I thought That it would be a tad bit smaller. However, i am a college student and prefer things to fit into smaller spaces.

My husband told me a coworker had an earlier version of this and it sounded great and was loud. So when I saw it on sale I didn't hesitate to get it. The second I set it up(which was quick and easy) it blew me away with the sound quality and bass. Honestly I think it's well worth the original price which makes me that much more excited about the deal I Got! And for reference I'm a bass enthusiast so when I say good bass for a portable speaker I mean GOOD bass. Also, the range is good. I was clear across my 2400 sq ft house with my phone and it still played on the speaker!

The Harman Kardan Onyx 4 is amazing. The sound quality is super clean. Highs are clear. The low tones are warm. Mids are alright. The bass has a good punch and for those jazz vocals, the timbre is noticealbe giving you a real good feel for the songs. The only issue I have with this is the large shape but I know that's the reason it sounds so good. I have a Bose Revolve Plus which fits in my commuter bag with ease. However, this is the better deal at under $200. You can daisy it to have stereo should you want to buy two. Enough power for a small confernce room.

Very good speaker. Got it on sale which was a great deal. Such a small speaker that pack great treble and even better bass. Bass lessens when disconnected to save battery. Battery charge last a good amount of time. Very easy to take with you when traveling. Biggest bang for your buck if you ask me as far as portable speakers.

Purchased this around Black Friday when it was about $150. Usually it's around $300, they may be upgrading this model and trying to sell this one out but who cares. Battery gets about 6 hours on a good charge. The quality is crisp, with bass loud enough to get security called to your room at a hotel party (it happened). I've had many speakers, and for $300-$400 you can get a use Soundbox like speaker that's double may triple the level of volume. But for the discounted price, this Onyx is by far the biggest steal on a bluetooth speaker currently.

I had bought the 2 a few years ago. So I knew the sound I was going to get AWESOME!!! LOUD and CLEAR!!!! I excited about this upgraded battery. The 2 battery was not good. So I hope this battery can last close to 8 hrs it advertised.

Is a great speaker incredible sound the base is deep clear sound the speaker is really loud battery only last about seven hours.

Awesome sound for a medium sized speaker. Design resembles iconic Beoplay A9 speaker. blue tooth works really well.

I had been using my husband's Onyx for a while now but he wanted it back and I cant say I blame him. I fell in love with it the moment I heard the first song play. The bass is deep while the music is crisp and it is a powerful speaker. So after Christmas I went online and found the Onyx Studio 4 which comes with more features and the sound quality is as good if not better than my husband's older one. I love being able to pair it up with my Note 9 and my new HP Notebook. I also love the ability to send and receive calls with it as well. It's incredibly easy to set up all I had to do is plug it in and pair it up and I was ready to go. Best Buy also had the best sale going so I got the speaker for a steal! I also opted for the same day delivery which didn't disappointment either. I knew was I was getting with little guy but it still exceeded my expectations. I will enjoy it for a long time to come.
