Great movie, blu-ray played without issue. There were many special features, I appreciated the deleted scenes particularly. I'm glad it included the Movies Anywhere digital code, so I can watch it on any device. The lead actors were very convincing in the roles they portrayed. I play to watch it again and again.

"Harriet," which is based on the true story of Harriet Tubman, is a phenomenonal film about the harsh realities of slavery and the evils of racism. Aside from the foul language used by the mercenary bounty hunter in a couple of parts, this film is perfect and definitely worth multiple viewings.

The character physique and temperament was accurately recaptured. She was small stature but big I terms of character and spirit. The abolitionist were the essence of the tide that won the Civil War with her courage zeal to never let her vigil with the help of God stop her destiny and those in her care to reach freedom.

This film was more than we expected. The statistics at the end seemed like it was Hollywood-made-up instead of factual. It's too bad that the Harriet $20 bill was put on hold. It would be very fitting to honor her in this way. Yes, there may have been some Hollywood-y parts but most of it was inspirational. Good movie!

We've become familiar with bio-movies which "enhance" the story for entertainment purposes. This is not one of those. Every major plot element ACTUALLY HAPPENED IN REAL LIFE. Be sure to watch this great portrayal of an astounding woman who repeatedly risked imprisonment to rescue others.

This movies is for everyone to see.The actress who betrays Harriet puts on a Academy award performance in my book.This women risked her own life to save other slaves thru the underground railroad.She is a American hero thick and thin....also lead troops to battle. You have to see the movie!

Harriet is just an amazing story froM the real life of slaves and slave masters. While no movie is completely accurate in accord with history, Harriet really opened my eyes to the workings of the underground rail road. Anyone in our country would benefit fro seeing it, and most would enjoy it!

The movie itself is excellent and I appreciate that BEST BUY had this movie in Black History month. Also I appreciated that the product was at such an excellent price and was delivered with hardly any wait time. Most companies take more than a week to deliver!

The acting is incredible telling the story of a remarkable woman committed to helping so many others out of slavery to freedom. The story is a great one to tell in our days of more hate in the country. I enjoyed this movie and feel it should be recommended for Black History Month.

This film made me cry plenty. The emotions that this movie brings to the table in regards to slavery will leave most individuals teary eyed. The abhorrent behavior of slave owners was profoundly barbaric. True story that we should never forget nor allow it to repeat itself.

it was good. though I think they should have had an African-American actress play Harriet Tubman. The English woman did good but with all these African-Americans you couldn't find one to play Harriet Tubman.

This is a terrific and inspiring movie. Prior to seeing it I knew little about what Harriet Taubman accomplished not only escaping herself but then going back at the risk of her life and bringing other slaves to the north. Should be seen by all.

Although the movie is not historically correct it is an attempt to tell the story of Harriet Tubman and her courageous effort to free as many people as she could. Cynthia Erivo is perfect, her energy and presence of being brought Mrs. Tubman back to life.

This was a great movie. It was an excellent price and very good quality. I would recommend this product to others. I am very happy I purchased this item. I have been looking for more great DVDs with these great prices from Best Buy.

We got this back in February just before the state went on lock down. Our daughter was studying slavery at the time and this movie help all of us understand that what happen than must never, ever happen again. Harriet was a true Hero.

I saw it in the theater when it came out. Then when it came out on Blu Ray I bought it and watched it at home. What an excellent depictation of one woman's struggle to be free. An excellent story of courage and heroism.

I saw the movie when it released in theaters and definitely couldn’t wait for it to reason on Blu Ray. A great portrayal of an Black historic icon the movie provides some points that I did not know about her past. A must have in your collection.

Absolutely Lovedddddddd this movie, it shows the aspect of slavery. And the GREATNESS of Harriet Tubman, and what she did for our people. (Yes im African American) Please watch it, all races can benefit from it...

My wife and I were able to see this movie in our local movie theater and were happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and really enjoyed watching it and we are looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

This is a movie the entire family can watch together. A true story about Harriet Tubman. Harriet had remarkable insight and visions that help to free slaves safely from the south to the northern states. A must see.
