Amazing picture and sound with the 4K upgrade being amazing.

Purchased this in order to be able to watch the complete 8 movie series. Great story.

I must admit, nothing really happens that much for the majority of the movie in Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince. Most of it feels like a high school movie. Kids finding love, the outcast trying out for the popular sport in school. Friends stop being friends, you know cliché stuff. Not to say that's a bad thing, it's not. It's very entertaining. As the movie goes on it really picks up and gets better and turns into a sort of mystery. I do not want to say too much, because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. I give this one a 9.5/10.

The film speaks for itself. The movie looks amazing in Ultra-HD and HDR. It is a must own for any Harry Potter Fan. The price is steep but well worth it. Don't Forget Best Buy Price Matches as well. I can't want for the next evolution. The film features DTS X audio on the Ultra-HD Blu-ray and DTS-HD 7.1 on the regular Blu-ray. The only downside is the digital download. At this moment Vudu nor iTunes have Harry Potter in 4k; only regular 1080p downloads.

The Half-Blood Prince on UHD continues the trend toward darkening and desaturation by director David Yates that can been seen in all four of his Potter films. Half-Blood Prince appears to have been regraded with a similar eye to adding darkness and reducing color, though nowhere as obviously noticeable as the cave sequence. the brightest colors are reserved for magic. The new DTS:X mix produces audible benefits in the home theater.

couldn't help myself, with the 2/30 price I decided to get all the Potters. I am missing the sleeves for 2 of them though, and as I have the box collectors blurays I like the sleeves sitting next to them. online 2 of the 4 I ordered came with the sleeves, 2 did not. obviously you know how much you like the movie itself, 4K w HDR helps for the later potters especially.

First of all, if you haven't seen all the Harry Potter movies, you need to. It's that simple. As far as this edition, it's great because it has the 2nd disc of bonus content. There is a series "making of" short films that are spread across all 8 of the 2-disc special edition blu-rays that makes them the only choice for a fan!

With a new wide screen tv and no idea how to connect an antiquated VCR, I began a search for the movies we loved best on our shelf. Thankfully I was able to find this DVD and we now can sit and enjoy the movies of our choice, when we choose in the comfort of our family room without paying for it again and again or waiting for it to show up on a tv channel

The Half-Blood Prince is the ultimate set-up film in the franchise where there is more action and drama then any of the previous films before it. This movie looks good in 4K, but not great. However, you will notice a definite upgrade in sound and if you have a nice home theater system - it will be well worth it.

I have a love-hate relationship with this movie. The first half is good character building, but you feel the pace dragging along. It's not until the chlling second half that things really turn emotionally scarring. The bonus features are more interesting than most of the movie. A digital copy which works with Movies Anywhere is also included.

When I have days off, I like catching up on good movies, action, adventure, fantasy and series. This is one I truly like, along with The Hobbit, LOTR, and Avengers. The correlation between good and evil aren't always so clear-cut, which makes one think. That is a good thing.

As an avid HP fan I can’t betin to tell you the difference in watching this is 4K! The colors are so vivid and beautiful I feel transported directly into that world. As for the movie, amazing (of course) and will of wizarding fantasy fun for all ages!

If you love Harry Potter and have a 4k TV and 4k blu ray player, this is a great deal. I would recommend getting the individual movies instead of the 8 film 4k boxset collection because the collection doesn't come with the special features from what I've read.

While many UHD adopters will spout on about the increased picture clarity, I find that the HDR colors on the disks is more the reason to upgrade. The brighter deeper colors and more clarity in the darker areas make it worth the upgrade for me.

This is a funny silly film made even funner because it's now in 4K UHD. 4K is the future if you don't have it you need to get on the ball seriously. Best picture and sound you can possibly get.

I love this movies as do I every movie in this series. I had lost them while moving and had to rebuy! Luckily my local Best Buy had a brand new copy. The picture is amazing and so is being able to watch it again. Definitely recommend this movie to everyone!
