There was a gray version of The Beast which like the gray version of Hulk was the first appearance of the blue fun loving Beast we all know. I honestly prefer this version as it displays better than the blue one. Also it includes a very nice extra head sculpt that the blue version doesn't has. This action figure goes more with the Avengers as he lacks the X belt. The Beast joined the Avengers in issue #137. Articulation is excellent and with the two extra hands, extra head and a book and eyeglasses it has plenty of options.

I used to collect action figures and keep them in box. For the last 20 years I’d pick up a handful of figures for my collection. Since Covid I have started to open some up and boy it’s been a blast! This has been one of the figures that’s a blast to pose. Has 2 great heads for beast to fit any situation. The color is very pleasing and adds to my X-Men area. Have some fun and pick one up.

I love this figure on the retro x men card. I would habe preferred him in blue on this retro card, but that’s okay, I had the blue beast anyways. I bought two so I can have one in package and one out to display.

I bought this figure to complete my X-MEN collection. It's by far my favorite one. Articulation & alternate head my ït a must have for anyone who is starting or completing their collection. A+

Gray Beast spent most of his time angered by his furry transformation, so the inclusion of a "happy" sculpt fits more with the 70's and 80's blue Beast than it does here. The "angry" sculpt is a repaint of the blue Beast and as such is a modern look that doesn't fit the source either. The glasses will most likely fall off if you are even able to get them on in the first place. Not to mention, the book worm Beast was more of a blue Beast thing too. Gray Beast never once wore glasses in his brief appearance in Amazing Adventures #11-14, unless he was wearing his rubber "Hank Mask". The upper legs and lower torso were cast in the blue plastic and painted gray, and as such has some pockets with blue seeping through the gray fur. In addition, watch high kick poses. First pose I did chipped the gray paint right off and now he has a blue spot on the upper leg where it should be gray fur. Still a cool figure and well sculpted, but it could have been better, even by Legends standards. Mine shipped without issue and the retro card was not bent or hurt during the shipping process.

A nearly perfect action figure; if only he was blue. The accessories glasses and book harks back to the ever so loved 90's Xmen animation when Hank Mccoy spent plenty of episodes behind bars waiting for his day in court. Much like the previous version released (blue beast), it still has the best and most articulation on a Marvel Legends up to date. The latest version comes with an extra head sculpt, a pair of glasses and a book which almost completely mimics the 90's animation Beast look. However, this new Beast is in his Grey version instead of his blue hue like in the cartoon series. Perhaps Hasbro will decide to release it in the blue version for a third times a charm attempt. Don't count out the newest release. The Grey version still tops most Marvel Legends figures. It's definitely one of my favorite releases as of this year and is a contender in the top five best action figure release of 2020. It might've taken the top spot if only I was color blind.

Great paint apps, articulation, accessories, and price. Mine arrived with gross smudges all over the plastic that were inside the package itself so I removed it.

Size is excellent compared to other retro X-Men. Great quality and detail. Nice articulations. Highly recommend to buy them all!

I bought this variation of Beast because the original was sold out but this one is just as good. Love it

I have already a blue beast figure and I cannot help but purchase another grey beast figure. It looks awesome when displaying them side-by-side. The articulation of both figures are very good. The grey beast comes with additional head sculpt, glasses and a book. This is a great figure that any marvel fan should have in their collection.

Dont know why people dont like it really cool and has black wash on it. Yeah the face is funny lookin but for 15 buucks its a good deal. Also the classes fit the black series tech so if anyone want to give him some kind of goggles thats a good option

This is one the best characters and one of the best bucks out there! Plus you get the extra Hank McCoy head and the book with glasses as accessories. OK, so Beast wasn't gray in the comics for many issues, but this is an awesome figure that you will love posing!

This beast figure has clean paint apps and good articulation. This grey version also has necessary accessories that the blue version unfortunately did not come with such as the additional head sculpt, glasses and book.

The colors of the box pop at you. For display I love this. If you want to take out of the box, I hear they did a fantastic job with this figure. I mean it looks really good

Perfect for anyone looks well made and actually like the character. Good for a gift came packaged well. Good for play or collecting.

Great articulation with the mold on this figure, color & accessories that come with him. A must have Marvel Legends.
