Hard to assemble

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The box was damaged but nothing was missing or broken, the middle pipe was too tight to slide into the legs, when i hit it with a hammer and spent 35min forcing it into place i had to screw 2 metal sheet screws to hold it together as i could not use the supplies screws. When assembled it looked good but was a bit wobbly. It can take the weight, im just mostly upset about the assembly as the pipes did not fit. YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET.

It is plenty large enough for 2 people and seems to hold the wright just fine. The only complaint is that the center bar is not large enough to fit over the legs. We tried and tried and could not make it work. We were going to give up, repackage and return it, but we decided to try one more thing. We slightly filed the inside metal around the hole and slightly filed the outside of the piece that was to be inserted. We then greased both pieces. It took some time, but this worked perfectly! Fortunately, the side pieces that also connect over the legs pieces fit well and required no additional effort.

The pieces do not slide together as they should so I now have a hammock I have to buy a stand for, which is ridiculous. I had a delay in putting it together and now im outside the return period, so my fault, but extremely disappointed. Do yourself a favor and buy a different setup.

Also had to use a tool to rethread where the joints meet. Some people may not have tools to do this. But on the positive side, I love them. Comfortable and problem is fixable.
