We got this to help establish a sleep routine for our baby. He sleeps between the nursery and our bedroom so the battery life feature of the second gen was an important feature. Unfortunately, when you unplug the Rest from the charge base, it will turn off 90% of the time. The battery life will say full, yet it cannot operate witnout being plugged in. This seems to be a common problem, based on some ofher reviews ive since read. Nonetheless, a really inconvenient defect that Hatch should be able to reaolve easily.

I think it’s something that my son will enjoy as he gets older. But its about 50 dollars for the year-round subscription

Won’t change colors or even turn off manually, the app won’t load so no luck there, it’s an 80 dollar bright night lite I have to put under the blanket to turn off, useless

Rarely works. From never connecting to the app so you can't use any of the features, to always needed to reinput Wi-Fi info, to audio cutting out and waking up your baby. do not buy this
