I love when the History Channel begins airing its stable of paranormal shows heavily around Halloween. This is a great bargain for five DVDs. "Vampire Secrets" is the excellent 2-hour program from 2006 (100 minutes), while the other four are hour long shows (50 minutes). This is worth it just for "Vampire Secrets" and "The Haunted History of Halloween." Either one of these two DVDs purchased separately cost as much as this entire set. The others in this series are quite good too...they include slightly older shows from the mid 90's about poltergeists, hauntings, etc. Some of which I don't remember seeing before. For the price, it is well worth it! Bottom line This is a great collection of History Channel documentaries pertaining to the paranormal. Compared to the prices for buying the DVDs individually ($19.99+), this is a heck of a bargain! In this collection you're pretty much getting each DVD for $4.00. I don't know who could argue with that.

This was actually a really cool show i had watched it on tv first but even then i loved it, maybe its just the fact that i enjoy these kinds of things but it was sooo cool im facinated by the ghost stories and the facts on how vampires became such an icon in this day and age, i loved it, it was good and informative :) if you like watching shows on A&E or if u just love these things buy thebox set you wont be dissaponted.

Received this as a gift from my daughter. We didn't get squat done after starting it. History Channel docu's are always insightful and not trying to make you believe or not believe. Just the fact's kids.
