This thing is awesome. I had an HD PVR 1 and really liked it, so I decided to upgrade and was so glad that I did. The software it comes with now is amazing. It's so easy to use and can be uploaded to YouTube directly. It also comes with hdmi cables now, so no more crazy AV wiring for perfect HD recording. The only thing that haven't fixed is being able to record your own voice in game. It's the same problem the HD PVR 1 had, so you have to record your voice directly to the pc with a good old fashioned mic. That's not such a big deal for me though, so I don't mind.

I bought this for my son so he could record from his set-top game systems, i.e. Xbox one, PlayStation 4, etc. He tells me that it does everything that he wanted, and needed, it to do.

Great recorder and very easy to use. Perfect for uploading video game footage to you tube!

This device works but has issues. Editing software is limited and the sound mixing does not meet my expectations for the price I paid. Windows ten and cortana has same capability for xbox one.

Best buy offers great price for this device and I have been using for 3 months and its just amazing. good quality and performance.

This is a pretty good product for what it's intended to do which is record, but what I bought it for was to transfer console games(Xbox one) to my pc screen because my current situation doesn't allow me to have a TV or monitor. It won't work for this purpose because there is about a 3-4 sec lag time from the moment you hit a button on your controller to the moment it happens on your PC screen. Hope this helps someone from buying this because a best buy employee "guarenteed" it would work for the purpose I needed, and of course it didn't.

This is a great product to buy if u dont want to get the elgato.

Easy set up on Windows & 65 bit works great, have yet to have any issues with recording or editing.

Its great for capturing game play but set up was a lil weird an had to buy a splitter to get my ps4 to work on it. Every now an again the software crashes or for some reason wont pick up the devise. For starting out I like the devise it dose the basics but at the same time if best buy had the other capturing devise on hand when I was shopping I would have spent the extra money on the better one, but I don't regret getting this one

It's a good device, durable and strong. However, the software requires internet connection so as to be updated, no problems

This is basically just a passthrough splitter with a computer interface program, it does not have any memory or storage capabilities. Purchased for son to capture xbox gameplay to post online,unit has to be connected to pc by usb cable, cp is in computer room xbox is in living room, needless to say promptly returned.

My kids enjoy using this product to make videos Of themselves playing video games.

It works good for recording. Has good output of video. Only problem is that it must be plugged into the computer at all times to play even if your not going to record. If it's not plugged into the computer then the tv screen will stay black.

I really don't know how it works but the boys think it is great.

A little complicated to use. But eventually gets the job done.

I purchased this to record old VHS tapes. I had to get a Red, White, and Yellow attachment for it to work but it worked great after that.

It does exactly as it advertises. I haven't gotten a chance to use it on my older systems just yet, (SNES, NES, Sega, etc.) but with the Xbox One it has worked fantastically.

Purchased this for my son. I thought I would've needed to help with the set up, I guessed wrong. He is 14 and had this setup and running in no time. Just surprises me how technologically knowledgeable teenagers are these days.
