This is way better than the original. Super funny with great action

This is an excellent series collection for everyone

In my opinion this remake of the original Hawaii Five-0 is better than the original.

I enjoyed the first season of Hawaii 5-0. I am from Hawaii, and it was great to see them bring the show back to the island.

Not as good as the original series. But still a good crime drama series.

I love this show and got it for my dad as a birthday present.

Why buy the regular DVD when the Bluray version is, as of this review, only $7 more. You would not do this series any visual justice. I absolutely love Hawaii (Oahu especially) and really watch this series for the scenery, but started to enjoy the action and cast. The show is very entertaining, although at times a little far fetched. Take for example, the season 2 series premier. McGarret gets shanked in the abdomen and actually passes out after he escapes but by the end of the show he's running and jumping like nothing happened. Eh, its TV so guess they can have a little leniency. Back to the Bluray...spectacular scenery in full HD. If you have ever visited Hawaii and know of all the landmarks, this series shows them all. To me its like reliving one of my many vacations there. If you like the show and have a Bluray player, please enjoy the sites and sounds of HI in HD.

Great show. I am very excited to get this, especially on blu ray. Thank you best buy for carrying this product. Trust me people if you are on the fence about this show buy this and watch all of it and you will be hooked.

Another gift for the wife who loves watching DVDs of her favorite shows. She was not sure if she would like the new Hawaii Five-O, but they have a good set of characters that she likes. Now that she has the first season, I will have to buy the next season soon.

I was suprised by how good this redone version of the old series turned out to be. The modern updated series is funny, engaging and imaginative while still bringing in aspects of the old series I watched as a child.

totally original..not same as namesake..plots grip you..and tie into each other with big twist in the end!
