I was very skeptical about getting quality performance 35 miles away from my local HD station in East Tennessee mountains. In a nutshell, I love this little radio! I would love a belt clip. The only drawback is there is no AM, just CD quality HD FM and standard FM. Reception is so great that the drawbacks are minimal. Wish list would be a clip, AM, TV audio, and RDS.

I love HD radio. For some reason, the one I received did not have the temporary clear plastic protective cover that usually is statically adhered to the display screen. I am sure that I was not sent a used unit but I can't explain how it arrived this way. It works great, I recommend it to anyone who wants clarity and additional channel choices.

This is the 2nd generation version. I had to replace my first unit when the LCD screen broke. Screen is slightly bigger and the cover over the charging port was deleted, which was a weak spot anyway. Sound quality is good and seems to pull in more HD signals than Gen 1 unit.

Love, love, love it! It's small size makes it handy to carry everywhere. The belt clip is a nice accessory. The best is the rechargable battery. That is the feature that swayed my decision to purchase this model.

I wanted a radio that played FM stations. Nothing more and this little gem works great. Don't notice the difference in HD vs regular radio but still love it. Fits in my pocket.

A good radio when you are walking. It has good reception most of the time with very little fade. Ear plug fit into your ear snug. makes walking more enjoyable.

I have used the original version for 5 or so years. It still works, but a cracked screen developed which makes channel changing a hassle. The buttons and switches have been shuffled around, but the control logic is unchanged. The housing is slightly bulkier with added silver trim. I can't compare screen resolution anymore, but battery life seems to be improved. If you want a portable HD radio, this is the only game in town.

I like to listen to talk radio on FM stations and this radio is great for getting a reception in a building and is great for the price.

Great little radio. Great reception. Charges last for at least 8 hours. However, this radio will croak on you. buy the extended warranty that Best Buy offers. It is well worth the money.

Crystal clear sound for FM stations that don't have any static.

It's OK for the price but... 1) Battery life is horrible, especially holding a charge when not in use is 2) Reception indoors is spotty, works great at home, no reception at work and lastly not the radios fault but the number of HD channels available in my area is very limited

I had the previous version of this radio and the reception was a bit better, but this is still the best choice for a portable HD FM radio.

A great portable radio. HD comes in clear and powerful. Great for use in the car without having to replace the entire radio

The sound quality depends on where you are ,if your outside it's pretty good but once you go indoors it's 50/50, and good luck trying to find a HD channel, but I use it for work and it dose pick up the station I want , so I can't complain.

I received the first edition of this product as a Christmas gift several years ago. Battery life was short, reception was sketchy, especially when connecting it to my FM transmitter in my car. This updated edition looks much improved and works somewhat better but still has issues with the FM transmitter (I believe that it isn't providing sufficient antenna support since the radio uses the headphone cable as it's antenna and the FM transmitter's cable is shielded).

I purchased this primarily to listen to ballgames that I couldn't stream while working. The sound quality is so amazing that I am also using it to listen to classical music as well as other radio stations.

Our South Florida classical radio station recently was sold to another so the format became unavailable. I got this unit to be able to hear classical music in my car on HD2 of WGCU which picked up the baton. I plug the output into the aux. in of my car radio and now I am able to hear classical music while driving. Its a great HD radio.

Bought it to listen to the play by play at NBA games and found it receives great for the small size and holds a long charge on it's battery

This pocket radio gets great reception at the ball game and the battery lasts forever. My last one (like so many others') died without warning (no sound). There are blogs on the web that describe the very technical soldering fix. If you buy this radio, also buy the extended warranty! I am betting you will need it. I exchanged my dead unit for a replacement at my local Best Buy without incident since I had the extended warranty.

I find it to be a very handy little radio for long walks. Excellent sound quality for a number of stations.
