Audio is crisp and clear, with lots of panning and a really detailed bed layer. Video is really good, film grain is present but not too pronounced. Watching it on my projector almost looks like watching this film on the first viewing of a 35mm print.

I always wanted this in 4K and now its here... had it on Laser Disc a while back but was not able to keep that thing running. Now i get it in 4k, blue ray and digital for under $20!! sound is amazing... picture seemed a bit dark but that may have been my projector bulb.

from the beginning the movie starts all the way to the end showdown, this movie does not disappoint at all! its full of an amazing cast that carry the movie perfectly! like always Pacino and deniro always hitting that dialog nice and hard making the movie suspenseful!

One of my favorite movies. This movie looks good in 4k Blu Ray. The movie does have a darker look to it. I watched it on my Panasonic UB820 4k Blu Ray player and I was able to use HDR enhancement to brighten up the image. Excellent.

Don't let some of the reviews out there fool ya when they say this movie in 4k is to dark. Either they've got bad tv's or don't know how to adjust them correctly. Movie looks and sounds great, and is a certified classic. Enjoy!!

Great movie overall. Could have done better with 4K version.

Heat is an all-time classic movie. The characters are excellent. The plot is really good. To watch to iconic actors Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in the same movie is amazing. Definitely worth buying and adding to your movie collection.

A great crime thriller with some legendary actors playing larger than life characters. Now considered a great classic after initially getting lukewarm reviews. Amazing deal for 3 HD discs plus the digital copy.

They finally released this in 4K UHD. This was an awesome movie when it first came out and is even more spectacular now, especially on 55+ inch screens. This movie finally gets the exposure it deserves.

This was a great movie that had a full cast of mega actors plus the action scenes and the plot were very good and the interactions in the movie between Al Pacino and Robert De Niro were excellent.

Great 4k remaster of film. Still one of my favorite films.

This is a triple dip I don't mind to admit. I've got the DVD, Blu-ray and now 4k. Yes it's worth it. Saw this on the big screen DTS sound back in 95. Watch this one with the volume up. The bank robbery shoot out is great.

An excellent action drama from beginning to end. A stellar cast, great plot and there is never a dull moment. Everyone does a stellar job, and this is one of my favorite films of all time. Highly recommended!

Classic film. If you havent seen it, buy this. If you have seen it, buy it for the UHD quality. Pacino and Deniro in their primes. This is what we hoped Righteous Kill was gonna repeat. But Heat is the real deal!

Great movie but the 4k transfer just aint doing it. No surprise since it was delivered by Disney. They just do not put in the time and effort. I got this on sale for $8 and was still disappointed. Like everyone else says, stick with the blu ray.

Always wanted to watch this and heard great things about the shootout scene plus the film in general and yeah, it's a really great film. Both Robert De Niro and Pacino nail their roles! My complaint is the 4K seems a little darker than normal but I suppose that's how Director Michael Mann wanted it to be.

A classic that needed a 4k release to get attwbtion from fans, and a new audience. The writing, the acring and the action, plus excellent audio and soundtrack, make this a great addition to my collection.

The best crime movie of the last 30 years. That gunfight in the third act is unrivaled. The 4k transfer is a little dark but a noticeable improvement over the previous blu-ray.

Great movie. Great video quality and the audio quality I have been waiting years to hear in my living room. Finally with 4k disc, the downtown scene comes alive and feel like I'm there. Chilling!

Heat is one of my all time favorites, this 4k version is excellent and i highly recommend this epic crime saga to anyone who loves cinema, drama, and well paced action!
