I loved the innocence of the little boy that explained exactly what happened to him. His parents were the ones struggling with believing that he actually experienced going to heaven and yet he never died. He experienced things that were unexplainable and yet they verified he had an experience with Jesus.

I rented the movie before my purchase at Best Buy. I rented it based strictly on curiosity about the title. Having no expectations for the movie, it turned out to be very well written and thought provoking. The actors were really good, in particular the little boy starring in the movie. Good family film.

This movie is a true inspiration & most of all it does bring happiness & joy about these true events that took place. For anyone that is religious & loves to hear about how it occured I would recommend this to you cause it brought tears to my eyes watching it & it may do the same to you as well.

While not full of overblown special effects, this movie has what most movies lack nowadays: a great story. The cinematography is gorgeous and the story is compelling. I would recommend this movie to everyone with a heart. If your dead inside, keep watching some worthless piece of trash film.

Had read book before seeing, so knew back story and some items that ended up being left out. Greg Kinnear is really good here and stands out. Support cast is pretty good as well. The story is worth sharing, especially if you are questioning life and looking to find something more.

Wow...this is a great movie. Every facet of this film is outstanding...from the actors to the music. This film grabs your heart, mind, and spirit with the unique question that Heaven is for real. This is a must see film for anyone who questions life after death. Enjoy!

the true life story brought to big screen was done incredibly well. You are interested in the plot from the beginning and the way it builds to learn more of the boy's encounter in visiting HEAVEN is done so believable. Makes you sit back and think a lot about life and ones future.

It was very refreshing to hear the name of Jesus being spoke on a big screen. I also felt the movie made you really see that "Heaven Is for real", The movie is told from the prospective of a child, an who doesn't believe what children say when it comes a thing like heaven.

I would highly recommend this family movie. It makes you think about the here-after and causes you to reflect on your life here on this earth. Maybe we will take ownership for our actions now rather than waiting until we get to the other side when it's too late.

This movie is one of the best I've seen in quite a while. We all wonder sometimes if there is a heaven and even if God exists. This movie depicts some of the joys and sorrows of this life, and provides hope for the afterlife. Would recommend for the whole family!

I read this book a couple of years prior to the movie coming out. At first I was worried because I have seen how Hollywood does book adaptations in the past, especially when it comes to faith based ones. While not exactly like the book I feel this movie kept with the spirit of the book and was enjoyable and encouraging to watch.

An enjoyable movie for an evening watch. A good character to be a role model to many these days. More students should not stand for the ignorance or prejudices of professors. While some plot development was predictable, it did not detract from overall story.

This movie starts off a little slow but catches up to whole plot about half way through the movie. It has great acting ang is professionally made as most Christian based movies are usually low budget. Makes one think about where we go when we leave this world and how our faith can be tested. "Lord I believe but help my unbelief"

This movie is heartwarming and will take you from wondering to believing. The young boy had great fortitude for not backing down in light of the skeptics. Everyone young and old should see it.

Lovely story that moves the heart. For those who believe in heaven this is a must see film. For those who are unsure, watch it anyways and enjoy the story.

I watched the movie first and then read the book. I fell in love with the movie and then the book was offered to me, so I read the book , and the book was awesome I think they should have put more into the movie like they left some good stuff out

The story is awesome you can't have doubt you have to have child-like faith, that's why God showed these wonderful facts to the little boy. I loved the movie I cried so much, I recommend you have a box of Kleenex with you.

I took my daughter to watch this one in the theaters and have to say, even though I knew it was based on a true story, I still felt my heart strings tugged. Questions were asked that were hard to answer but this is a great family movie.

This was a great family movie. The younger kids were able to understand what was going on within the story without having to ask to many questions. I was over all very excited to watch this, and even happier to know his story...
