This is a nice Disney Catalogue release, and it was one of their last commercially available catalogue blu-ray releases before they made the unfortunate decision to release future ones only as club exclusives sans bonus features. This release is packed full of bonus features (just the deleted scenes/alternate and extended takes total an hour an a half). While it may not be the best-loved movie Disney has ever made, it is a fun, lighthearted story that will make for an enjoyable movie night with a good amount of extras that are sure to keep you entertained well after the credits roll.

This is a fun movie for the whole family to watch.

In the library of live-action movies from Disney, there have been some truly questionable characters and story plots. Heavyweights introduces us to a Ben Stiller at his comedic best. His character reminds me of his villainous role in dodgeball but only better. This Blu Ray is a must-have for any collector of 80s and 90s nostalgia

I absolutely loved this movie growing up. I think it's hilarious and was ahead of its time. I'm 25 now and I still love watching it. I'm glad they brought it to bluray and included a commentary, because I love listening to the "behind the scenes" comments.
