This does end with a cliff hanger, but I still think it is worth watching if you enjoyed the first season. I think part of the problem with the second season is that it works more like the beginning of a trilogy (the complaint of setting things up). I enjoyed the story in both timelines (two separated trips to this island many years apart). The final episode is quite something and the ending set up what would have been an amazing third season. Worth it if you liked the first season, I think. It may work best to binge watch it.

If your wanting a show to watch several years this is not it. It was canceled. I picked it up just to see where they were going with the show. I'm confused as to why they are ending it but they are.

I really never understood how the producers could have changed the storyline from the first part of this series which was excellent. It is disappointing that it ended on this motif that sees its end.

The second and final season of Helix was great but odd. It constantly shifted between times and something's went unexplained. So overall the final season was good.

i enjoyed this series the plot line is what we should be worried about .it is resendent evil only the company is run by imortials.

Helix season 2 explains it all. If you loved the first Helix, then this is a must watch.

I really enjoyed the first season and some of the conceits made in this universe. This season jumped the shark in some really bad ways. However, it does tie up some loose ends and heads into some dark places. There won't be a third season, so if you liked season 1, it's worth the shot. Temper those expectations, though.

great show I would recommend all the episodes to anyone who enjoys suspense

As far as we know this was the end of the series and it was a good ending.

Recall or remembering what happened in the past and how the net result was better is not clear. It becomes the case of trying to identify who is the bad guy and who is worse than the other.

Good follow-up, if you love sci-fi, don't hesitate to buy it!

Awesome show and love the story. You can't miss parts in this one so watch season one before jumping in.

This series has continual changes, that keep you trying to figure out who did it

Great second season, looking forward to see the third one !

Season 2 picks up where Season 1 left off, but goes faster, darker, and is increasingly uneven. Instead of using flashbacks, the writers used flash-forwards for parts of the continuing story--not a bad thing, but its execution with all the plots-within-plots challenge one to maintain perspective from one episode to the next. There's nothing wrong with the acting, but the characters devolved--they became increasingly amoral, petty, and thereby unsympathetic. I was actually rooting for the contagion-of-the-season to wipe them all out. This season was particularly abundant in violence, gore, over-use of the S-word, Freudian slips, Greek tragedies, backstabbing [literal and figurative], and other elements... although it didn't reach Game of Thrones levels. The scripts were intelligent, but far too convoluted for their own good. All in all, I felt this season was a setup for failure. The network wasn't really supportive and the creative team's drive [including Ronald Moore's peripheral-only involvement] seemed to have lost steam. Whatever the case, viewership declined to such a point that SyFy HAD to cancel the series. Can't say that I disagree with that decision or that I'm sorry to see this series go bye-bye.

This is a great season to a great show, i just wish it didn't end.
