|-| ell Girl, |-| ell-yes!

This anime is all about watching people get pushed to wit's end (which is entertaining enough), where they choose to condemn themselves to |-| ell as the only opportunity to avenge their own torment by damning their antagonists to the same place. The seemingly vignette-style content does not require any plot to keep things interesting, but one does develop, slowly, and to great effect. While sticking annoying close to its own formula for most of the series, |-| ell Girl does break from its own conventions and start to have fun with motives and consequences later in the series. Highly recommended.

This anime is great by it self, though it does take a while to really get interesting. But once it does, it's hard to turn off...
The boxset is very nice. It has two DVD cases that each hold two discs. Both cases have reversable covers with great pictures. The discs themselves have some pretty nice pictures of the different backgrounds in the anime.
The bonus features are pretty much the same ones found on the seperate discs (vol. 1-6 discs that cost nearly $30 each). Unlike the seperate discs, this does not come with artwork cards.
