This show is magnificent to look at. very realistic sets, even to the Remington 1861 revolvers that are used. production values are terrific and the show definitely has a cinematic quality to it. the plotting is rich and the characters are three dimensional people instead of the usual cardboard ones in westerns. after all westerns are great morality tales now disguised in sci-fi movies and tv. show is very reminiscent of the movie Union Pacific and western Union. please watch this show!

The series is absolutely fantastic. I love all movies that use the old west as its background. The series is raw (not Deadwood raw) but its got great story lines, strong characters and the leading man is a handsome one and quick with his tongue. The dialogue is intriguing and you just get pulled into the story line. Its a definate "must see" in my opinion. Gun fights, fist fights, and prairie love!

I really enjoy this show...I have watched every season so far...usually watch it on my dvr...I also have bought every season on Blu-Ray...its worth watching in hi def...The cast is really good...Anson Mount is a great lead...Colme Meaney is Awesome semi bad dude...and Christopher Heyerdahl is just plain crazy great...I thoroughly recommend this show...

I have really enjoyed this series. The setting and time period is different than other westerns. Watching the plot twist and turn makes it interesting and keeps you guessing each episodes. Would highly recommend this series to anyone who like westerns.

Hell on Wheels is one of the best westerns I've seen on TV in recent years. Despite some story/pacing issues during this season, the show (overall) is certainly binge-worthy and definitely worth the price.

I have liked this series from the beginning. I will have to say that this is not been my favorite season, but still its Anson Mount and the beginning of the season was worth watching the whole season.

I like historical stories, I am not watching it to make sure it shows what actually happened in history but it does remind me of some of the good and bad things that happened in the American history.

This series tells about the railroad and what they went through to build it. It shows how life was then and the struggle they had to achieve their goals.

I thought season 1 and 2 were good but season 3 is even better. A great show for anyone that likes history or anyone looking for non stop action.

We own all 3 seasons of this show. DVD was purchased for my father who is in a nursing home. He loves this story line & the great acting.

Great story line, something not usually produced that we can remember. We look forward to each new season that is released.

If you haven't seen this show you should watch it. Even if you don't like westerns that much you would like this one.

This is a well written TV show with great characters and cinematography. It's fast paced and interesting.

Great viewing. Hell on wheels is a compelling story with an exceptional cast. Definitely worth the price.

This is a great period piece for a TV show. This series is epic and will keep you hooked. A must watch!
