Picked it up on sale on a whim. Turned out to be a really good movie

In my opinion, this was the best film of 2017. An awesome film with great performances and spot on directing. The script was perfection. The uhd disc has great video with nice HDR10 (or Dolby Vision if your setup is capable). It does not have Dolby Atmos, even though it is listed on the back of the case. Instead, it has the same Dolby lossless 5.1 track from the hd disc. If you do not own the hd blu-ray already, this uhd blu-ray/hd blu-ray set is a must buy and gives you the best presentation of the film currently available. If you already own the hd blu-ray, this uhd disc might not be worth the double dip. It has the same audio and, since the film was mastered in 2k, the uhd disc does not have any added video resolution over the hd disc. What really separates the two discs is the presence of HDR on the uhd disc. If HDR is worth it to you, then double dip away.

I'm really impressed with the 4K steelbook presentations that are exclusive to Best Buy. Frequently, they will have a slipcase cover of some kind and when you remove the slipcase, there is frequently an original piece of artwork underneath. You've probably already seen this movie but if not, this is absolutely worth a purchase. The script was written by Taylor Sheridan and you will appreciate this if you're a fan of Yellowstone.

This film is one of the best movies of 2016, and is another strong screen writing effort from Taylor Sheridan, who also did Sicario. The cast is well balanced, and while the trope of the film is familiar (setting of film is small town Americana struggling to survive in post-Great Recession America and dealing with financial pressures caused by the failure of the banking industry), the individual performances are a nuanced portrait of individual life choices one needs to make to survive. The cinematography of the film creates a backdrop of West Texas that almost functions as a secondary character, and provides a sense of vastness the characters are faced with as they deal with their individual pressures (which run the gamut from poverty, age, prison conviction, pending retirement and other societal pressures). Definitely a good purchase for your home movie collection.

Great movie with lots of action and a great story to go with it

Yet another well done 4K steelbook from Lionsgate! I am really loving these now, with the slipcovers to add to the overall artwork. Why no one other company has done this is a question. The movie is fantastic and the cast is terrific. Jeff Bridges plays a Texas Ranger and Chris Pine is one of the brothers on a bank robbery spree in West Texas. The movie looks and sounds good on the 4K. Menus are good with easy selections. We get the 4K, Blu-ray copy, digital copy. Nice slipcover also. I do recommend this one!

This movie has few twists and a lot of shooting!! It gives a lot to think about but definitely stays on script!!
