Action, humor, and Ron Perlman was made to play Hellboy. Got the movie when first released, but always wanted the SteelBook edition but wanted 4K. This movie is awesome in 4K. Like seeing it for the first time. Can't wait to find Hellboy II in SteelBook 4K also.

This is one of the great comicbook/superhero/creature movies out there. Stunning visuals, and alway a fun watch. This transfer to 4k on a good player and disp;lay is the bext presntation of the film I have seen. Consider it reference material.

this is THE Hellboy! Ron Pearlman made the character his! The 4k transfer and audio is superb.... the dark scenes are so much better in 4K !! Very sharp and pronounced!! It beats the dvd and blu-ray versions!! Don’t walk, run to get this classic!!

So glad to see this on a true 4K disc, with both theatrical director's cut versions. (Theatrical only on the included 2K Blu-ray.) Really fun, dark, alternative comic book movie. Tons of extras ported over from past releases, plus a bit of new stuff, and a Digital Copy.

Very cool Steelbook!!! Guillermo del Toro visionary genius who also directed The Shape of Water. Winning four Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director, this movie has heart with intriguing characters. PS - not suitable for children

What more can I say... it's the original HELLBOY in stunning 4K UHD! Another gorgeous native 4k transfer from Sony. Includes both Theatrical and Director's Cuts. If you love the movie, this is the way to watch/own it! Recommended!

I love this movie. Ron Perlman IS Hellboy. There can be no other Hellboy. The picture and sound quality are excellent as well, which is good because, like every other Guillermo del Toro movie, this movie is gorgeous.

Never saw this in theaters, saw it one time a long time ago on a premium cable channel like HBO and seen it on broadcast. Now I can enjoy it at home whenever I want. Might buy the newer version later but I'm pleased with this on for now.

I love the original Hellboy movie and that is awesome it is in 4k steelbook. I am glad that i found it and even happier that it was on sale.

Hellboy is a great comic type movie despite not being from one of the two big (Marvel/DC) companies. Much, much better than the remake of the same name. Great to own it in 4K and own it as a good looking steelbook.

I already had a previous copy of this movie, but the steelbook art was so eye-catching that I had to have it. It includes all of the usual extras that the original version had. It's a comic book movie with one of the oddest protagonists ever written, a demon who is destined to destroy our world. Brought to you by the visionary mind behind Pan's Labryinth, the Devil's Backbone, and Pacific Rim, Guillermo Del Tor, it has all of the visual flair you have come to expect from him.

Great movie and love the story. Picture quality is great for the HD disc and sound quality is great as well. Good mix of practical and cgi effects for the time. Best movie compared to the remake.

Cool origin film for Hellboy (even though I prefer the Golden Army of the two) and something different, imaginative, and creative for the comic book genre that isn’t Marvel, DC, and/or Fox related. Cool steelbook artwork.

Was waiting for the Hellboy series to start coming out with 4k Steelbook Editions. I have Hellboy 2 in Steelbook, but it's the Bly-ray Edition. So can't wait for the 4k Hellboy 2 being released from Best Buy.

The OG hellboy is the best of the series. The reboot never matches up. Great collectible steelbook which got restocked recently.

Hellboy is a genre bending movie. I wish that I could buy it in 4k ultra HD, but it is not available on 4k yet.

Great visual effects and costume design make this movie stand out. The acting and design of this film really tell the story about how Hellboy was born. This is one of my favorite movies.

A great collector's item at an even better price. The film has been one of my favorites, and having it in my collection was what I was aiming for, especially in this one-of-a-king packaging. Fans of the comic book will not be disappointed!

An oldish favorite that looks even better. Great extra features - what else would you expect, as Del Toro is lovingly involved. Thanks to my son Matt for the late holiday gift!
