Well someone along the lines of the other “pop art “steal books, this one is an absolute steal for its current price. The desk is loaded with special features, and also includes the digital HD version, and is well worth the cost. Highly recommended!

An exquisite transfer, and pretty cheaply priced for a catalog title. Del Toro did it right fir this adaptation. Can't really say the same fir the 2019 version, though that gets a great treatment a/v as well.

Steelbook was well done. LOVE the movie. Take away one star as I think the 4k transfer could've been a touch better and too bad not available in later version with Dolby Vision, etc..

It took a little longer but the wait was well worth it to finally get the Original film version of Hellboy to be issued on 4K-UHD disc. Not only did Sony provide the sought after theatrical cut of the film but we also get the Director's Cut of the film boosting this set along with a full range of extra's on the remastered Blu to boot. Welcome to the wonderful world of writer/director Guillermo Del Toro whose ultimate visionary style of whit for humor makes this film version the best. Ron Pearlman is perfectly cast as he gives this big beast a great touch of humor and compassion that takes you inside this fantasy world and keeps you on the hook to the final credits. Doug Jones as Abe, Selma Blair as Liz and John Hurt as Professor Broom all give fantastic performances that make this a fun entertaining film. Sony UHD looks perfect with a natural film grain and deep colors. The HDR pass really represents this film well with each catacomb of darkness looking good. The Atmos track is clean and clear, not a completely fully ranged track but solid nonetheless. Just some commentaries are found on the UHD for extras. The BD contains just the Director's Cut with a huge amount of extra's that makes this title a welcomed member to the UHD family and collectors alike.....

This is a nice looking steelbook for a great movie and it looks great on the shelf.

I was not a fan of this movie back when it came out, but with the resurgence of comic based movies on the market my son was curious to see it. I must admit, it was a fun movie to revisit, and it was good enough to make us wanna see part two! Definitely a great film to establish the Hellboy story, and it’s a must see before watching any of the others.

Hellboy in 4K looks amazing! Great! This is the original Hellboy and it looks fantastic. All the colors and dark levels in the movie really stand out, and it is was available at a great price.

Ron Pearlman At His Best! And everyone else was remarkable, too! This movie has it all- love interest, action, horror, and humor. Take an eve, pop some corn and let this movie take you on an adventure.

Best Hellboy movie, better than most recent released in theater! A must own for any fan of Hellboy, great update in quality of picture and sound with 4K and HDR. A figital copy included too!

A fair price for this really cool 4k steel book and addition to your collection

Ron is the best choice for the original hellboy have loved this movie for years and missed buying it on Blu-ray years ago finally was able to find it and for less than 10 bucks made it perfect

This the first I the series and I was hooked. Ron Pearlman is fantastic as Hellboy. We get see the discovery of Hellboy as young boy to smart mouthed cigar smoking antihero.

Having owned the dvd then Blu-ray version of this, I was excited for it to finally arrive in 4k. This transfer does not disappoint! Great sharpness and colors overall.

Hellboy in 4K is incredible! Detail is staggering and audio is first rate! If you are a fan it is a definite buy. Steelbook is very cool bonus if you can find it.

This movie definitely was a good mixture of action with just enough comedy but not overly done comedy. Ron Perlman definitely pulls off this character flawlessly.
