Really liked Ron Pearlman's Hellboy and didn't think this needed a reboot and was skeptical. After watching, this was pretty darn good! Ian Mcshane very good is this too which makes it a must watch for hellboy fans.

This movie was actually good i know it don't have the original actor for hellboy but it was still good. The cgi and Dolby atmos sound was reference quality. And I love the steelbook art perfect for my collection.

I loved the original Hellboys and while this is a different actor, etc... he did a really good job in the role and the story was right along with the comics so all in all a good movie, I hope they make more.

I loved the first 2 Hell Boy movies, and this one brings humor to an already interesting type of movie. You can't beat the quality, its up there with the higher standards. Recommending this is a no brainer.

Right when the movie started, it felt off. It felt rushed and all over the place. It got better but felt like there was too many hands in the kitchen. Also, for a R rating, I was expecting more gory violence.

I read what Ron Perlman thought of this, and think I agree with his accessment in which he believed it to be good. The only thing I believe it would have been better with him in it. Come on he is Hellboy!

Excellent Audio and video. This movie was a different take on the lovable Pearlman version. This is Gory, it has supernatural, folklore and violence. All in all, it was done very well and worth watching.

i didn't think i'd like it and the first time i really didn't. but after watching a couple of times, i realized this version was more like the comic books. over the top and sometimes campy, i enjoyed the story and the characters immensely. i would recommend watching a couple of times to truly appreciate the direction the franchise went when they rebooted. didn't even miss ron perlman that much. as far as the steelbook what can i say. packaging is wonderful and with a coupon, owned it for $20...and in 4K no less.

This is a reboot of the original Hellboy movie. This movie missed the mark .The origin reboot story in this movie was down right corny. This reboot made Hellboy a descendent of King Arthur . Don't know what many people think but the Hollywood obsession with King Arthur is completely overdone , it borderlines on boring. The action was weak and special effects were so-so. Too bad it had a great cast but incomplete story line. if you are a Hellboy fan , I think you might enjoy some of the movie. this I am a Hellboy fan , I would overall recommend the movie .

A well crafted remake of the Hellboy franchise. Good action scenes and lots of humor mixed in throughout the film. David Harbour does a great job but the kudos go to the writers on this one

Hellboy comes to England, where he must defeat Merlin's consort and Nimue the Blood Queen. But their battle will bring about the end of the world, a fate he desperately tries to turn away.

This Hellboy has nothing to do with the last 2 movies. And that’s a shame. They were very good. But once I got over that I really enjoyed this movie. It looks and sounds great in 4k.

I'm an avid fan of the Hell Boy saga. But this film had me on edge from start to finish. I really enjoyed it and I believe alot more people will to but not the the kids under 10 yrs old.

I enjoyed the film more then i thought i would! great action silly one lines and i have to say it was nice to see a rated R monster movie! i get bored with pg-13 for money horror films!

If you want quality, watch the 2 original Hellboy movies. This movie served to reboot it just so they could show horn in other characters to make it a franchise. The plot suffered.

The new reboot to the Hellboy series draws heavily from the comics and while the special effects and action was good the final battle felt lacking as did the storyline at certain points.

Ok, so way different in the character of Hellboy from the original. Still, worth watching. Must see twice before you can really understand character interactions. Recommended purchase.

I like this re-imagining of the Hellboy character. It is well done and darker than the first Hellboy movies by Guillermo Del Torro. I hope they follow through with a second movie.

Everyone wanted a 3rd film in the Del Toro/Perlman series, but this was a very honorable entry. Gore, awesome kills, fantastic fx......and David Harbour as Hellboy. Love!!

I thought it was a good stand alone I think it got a bad rap do to the first two hellboy movies and people really liking Ron Perlman give it a look with open mind and enjoy.
