As a longtime fan of Hellboy and comic books in general, I first purchased Blood and Iron several years ago on DVD. I had always meant to try and find the second Animated feature "Sword Of Storms" but unfortunately I never got around to it. I was delighted to find both movies in Blu-Ray format collected on one disc in this Anniversary set. The price was very good for a two movie set and even the packaging looked great. Being able to get both films for the price of one is a great benefit to owning this Anniversary Edition. The voice acting, animations, story lines, and character designs were awesome in both features making them a must have for Hellboy fans and/or comic fans in general. Overall a great value for two excellent animated films.

Just in time for the 20th anniversary of the character's first appearance (way back in John Byrne's Next Men #21… unless you count San Diego Comic-Con Comics #2, which was Dark Horse Comics' comic con exclusive released in August 1993), Anchor Bay has reissued the two animated features that were first unleased on Blu-ray in 2007. This seems, however, to basically be the same disc just dolled up with some new packaging and a mini-comic tucked away in the case. Regardless, here's what to expect with these two animated adventures which originally premiered on the Cartoon Network

I really like both movies, but the art and animation style reminded me of Saturday morning cartoons and I mean that in a bad way. If you like HellBoy you will enjoy this even though it could look a lot better.

Animations is great and the voice overs are done well. Ron Perlman does Hellboy's voice over, which is great. 2 movies on one disc is nice to. If you like Hellboy you will like these movies.

I was really into Hellboy so I picked this up. The animation is good and the stories are pretty exciting to watch. I highly reccomebt this.

These animated Hellboy movies are awesome! I love that they have the cast from the live action movies! The stories for both are interesting and I’ll definitely rewatch them!

My son wanted this dvd for christmas. He's all into the hellboy movies and I have to say for an adult the cartoon is pretty good and my son loves it.

Great set of the two movies together. Always loved how the actors from the other films voiced their characters too.

I didn't realize this was an animated version when I purchased it in a hurry. I wasn't impressed with it but my teenage son was.

I would highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a entertaining action movie. High quality production

Popped this one in right after watching Akira, crazy animation and very sharp and witty dialogue and action. A must for Hellboy fans.

This dual movie collection turned out to be a worthy pass time, especially for those who are fans of Hellboy

For the first time these are on blu ray and a must own for movie collectors. Definitely a good bye.
