It was for my 3-year old daughter, so that is what attracted me to the item. The CD,FM switch it very tricky and you have to flip it back and forth to get the CD to play.

This product was definitely not built to last.....even for older kids. It does a poor job of tuning in radio stations. Overall it's a decent piece of gear for the kids room and they can play their music.

My daughter loves her Hello Kitty boom box! She needed a small CD player, and this was perfect for her. It is cute and easy for her to operate.

Very easy to use for my 6 year old daugher. Don't like she can not use her headphones with it.

This item is cute but fragile. I would not recommend it for children under 10.

Looking for a gift for a little girl found this cute boom box that it has great appearance and great price.

Bought this cd player for my daughters nursery. She listens to lullaby's and kids songs. Have not had any issues with this product.

no complaints so far. it even fell once to the floor and still works great. Solid product and my daughter loves it. THanks.

The Hello Kitty music box is great for the kids room. My daughter loves to have it on before she goes to sleep at night and jam to during the day.

This is the first one I've seen! She was so excited to get it for Christmas.

I got it for my little girl, to listen to her music and fall asleep too.

This product was a birthday gift. The CD player stopped working, skipped or only worked occasionally about 6 months after the purchase. I did not have time to troubleshoot and thought it was the CD's my daughter repeatedly listened to that had become defective. So I tested the CD's in other players and found that they work perfectly. Tonight I tried a brand new CD and the player would not come on half the time. The few times it DID come on, it flashed "00" as if there was no CD in the player to read data off of. Please do not waste your money. I can't believe they charge this much for something that does not work! I had to special order it just to get one. By the time I realized it was the player that might be defective, the product was out of warranty. Disappointed.

I bought this for a birthday gift for my 6-year old daughter. Less than 5 months later and maybe a few hours of total use, the CD Door will not stay closed. Another issue I have is the fact that it takes batteries, but you cannot remove the power cord or store conveniently within the unit. My daughter is now very disappointed and I'm out $50. Do not waste your money on this product. I should have heeded the reviews I read before buying it.

I bought this for my grand daughter's fifth birthday, along with some kid's CD's. When I gave it to her and played the first CD, the sound quality was much better than I'd expected. The electric cord is permanently attached to the boom box, which may be a disadvantage to some, but if it's given to a kid, they can't lose the cord. The Hello Kitty motif is cute for a five year old girl, and women who are Hello Kitty fanatics. The price is quite reasonable, so it can't be beat for something to play your daughter's, grand daughter's, nieces,etc. CD's.

Gave this to my 4 yr old daughter for Christmas from Santa. Santa's elves did not do a very good job making this thing, because within 2 months it completely stopped working. The CD player, quite simply, does not play CDs. It will not read anything we put into it. The reception on the radio is a joke, so essentially, the thing is completely useless. Should have read reviews and gone with functional instead of cute. Lesson learned, through the sad, sad, look my kid gave me when I told her we have to throw it away.

It works. Daughter wanted Hello Kitty radio. She got it. The sound isn't great. The features aren't great. But it's Hello Kitty. As far as quality, it's like a cheap radio/cd player that a street vendor would sell.

My daughter got this for her 4th birthday. 1 1/2 months later it wouldn't play CD's anymore. We returned it and got a new one. Now 7 months later it won't play any CD's again so we started to use just the radio. Now the FM radio won't work anymore. We are not even to her 5th birthday yet and we have had 2 of these that don't work. Don't waste your $50 on this piece of junk!

This Hello Kitty Boom Box CD player is a total piece of junk. What else can I say....It's cute....But if it doesn't function, what good is it. CD player worked for maybe an hour. Radio receiver would not change channels. SMH. Dealing with a very dissappointed granddaughter. Do not waste your time or money on this product

My wife bought this because my daughter really likes Hello Kitty (and all things pink). Like several others who bought it, the CD player quit working right after the two month mark. So, for $50, I have a poor quality AM/FM radio/overly large paperweight. Best Buy won't exchange it, but they might ship it to the manufacturer for me. Oooh, thanks! (not!)
