They are being used by my 4 year old daughter and these are aweful, when you arent being used to talk they make a constant white noise static sound which really kills the batties and my sanity. Theres also no volume control, so it's either all or nothing.

Ok, you don't get a lot but this is really just a little kids toy. They actually hiss while on, I thought it was a bad radio until I realized that it is better that they make noise, it lets the kids know that they are still turned on. Saves batteries. Fun for kids, don't expect them the range to be more than just 50 feet or so. Fun for the house, not camping or anything like that.

My children enjoy using the Walkies , but the feedback is horrible

Really wish I could of got to use these before we bought them. Our girls cannot understand a single word that is said over these. Really disappointed.

These are a very cute design but sadly when you turn them on they don't work the way they should. I thought it might be weak batteries so I replaced them, still static. I thought maybe they were too close together and had my kids walk apart for a while, no better. Wrapped them back up and brought them back. The store was great about the refund. My advice, save the plastic pack, the bag & receipt, if you have the same problem just return them.

It is nice enough to give as a gift, especially to young girls who love Hello Kitty. The thing I noticed that makes it look cheap is that the design is actually a sticker.
