I had heard of this movie years ago, but had never had the opportunity to see it until recently. It was very funny, and I highly recommend it. It stars Oleson & Johnson, a comedy duo from the 30's and 40's. I think this was the first time I had seen them, and they were very funny, along the lines of Abbott & Costello, or Laurel & Hardy. Martha Raye also stars in the movie, as well as Shemp Howard (of Three Stooges fame). In addition to the comedy, it also has good music and choreography. It's a madcap adventure whose plotline is comparable to many of the Looney Tunes cartoons of that era. If you love the older comedies, then you will love this one.

This is by far one of the funniest movies ever made. No question about it. You will be on the floor thanks to the witty dialogue, the surreal jokes, the amazing inventiveness displayed on screen. A must for anyone who loves to laugh.

You will see the best swing dancing ever by African Americans. So sad of our countries history of towards black people, down playing their artistic talents. That was the best part of the movie.
