To be completely honest, these knives are good, but the STEAK KNIVES feel just cheap and flimsy. they do work, and the rest of the knives feel light and sturdy but the serrated utility knife feels like the steak knives. Do they cut? YES; Do they stay sharp? yes, within obvious reason. As far as the average home chef, this is everything you will need, and absolutely stellar for the price point if you don't mind flimsy feeling steak knives.
