This is my all time favorite Disney movie ever!!!!

Love it and got it at a great price. Kids love it.

Fun kids movie. Not the deepest or most involving of stories, but entertaining nonetheless. The villain is great.

Danny devito as a half horse-man-god trainer? I mean what else could you want in a film?

Modern day animation masters who looked up to the 9 Old Men that helped start the Disney Studio come into their own in an era where new technology like "deep canvas" for backgrounds meets hand drawn animation. Susan Egan grates as Megara while Josh Keaton give a nicely nuanced performance as "Young Herc." Alan Menken's tunes also help to elevate the film above some of the weaker elements, like the low key villain and his side kicks. Also, did I mention Susan Egan horrible performance yet? Because it is worth mentioning... Seriously, I dunno what John Lassiter sees in her. He puts her in almost everything.

By the time Hercules came out, CG had advanced to the point where artists could make stylistic choices to make it look more hand drawn. Disney went through painstaking lengths to make sure it did have that classic hand drawn quality to it. I have always loved Disney cartoons and Hercules is no different! It's a movie you watch (Like many Disney movies) when you want to just relax, possibly with the family, and just laugh or have fun. Being a graphic artist, I really love the stylistic choices they made to make this movie really fit into what Disney's look has so often been shown as. Love it!

Classic Disney movie good music all around good family movie.

So this is one of the best Disney movies. The characters are fun and relatable. The subject matter, while having to go through a obvious reworking to be family friendly, is still well-put together and excellently paced. The voice acting is hilarious and contains some noteworthy celebrities at their most enjoyable. James Woods as the God of Death is amazing. And the academy-award nominated music is rightfully acclaimed. Overall, you should buy this if you are the type of person who buys Disney Blurays.

I grew up watching this movie (80's baby) lol. I ended up getting this as a gift for my girlfriend because 1. it's her favorite Disney movie 2. I didn't know it was on Bluray & 3. Now she can finally get rid of the VHS she has of it lol. But in all seriousness this movie teaches many life lessons while being able to be enjoyed by the whole family with laughter & adventure. That combination is always a win-win in my book.

I purchased this as a gift for an adult daughter who loved this movie as a child. This one is going to be remade soon with live actors. This is the original animated movie. It does not have the recognition of some of the other Disney animated movies but this is a good choice for the kids.

Disney's Hercules is a nice addition to anybody who really enjoys Disney classic cartoons. Disney did a nice complementary to this movie with a couple of different twist. Anyone who knows the truth about the Legend of Hercules or as he should be called Heracles. Why was this demigod did not have an easy life. If Disney did really good job on putting on a classic cartoon with Hercules. If you like Disney cartoons Hercules as a welcome addition any Disney collection it's well worth having. That's a classic for any age kids teenagers and adults and it has a great meaning behind it.

'Hercules' is presented in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio, and looks really good on Blu-ray. my only complaint is there should have been more extras!!! But I can only imagine they are saving that for another anniversary release in another 7 years or so. Great movie for the entire family although older kids would probably understand it more. If you have a Disney movie rewards account, you get 150 points when you type the code in your account. You will get the digital copy in your DMR account, iTunes account, and Vudu account (if you have your Vudu account linked to your DMR account).

I remember watching this movie many times on vhs and the rest of the other Disney movies, when I was a kid. Also, I upgraded to this blu ray disc and dvd combo pack with widescreen and better 1080p picture quality this year, after my old vcr player is wear out.

With a 4.5 video quality, and 5.0 audio quality & extremely well done bonus feature I cant recommend this movie enough. Sure it may not be a classic like The Lion King Or Aladdin but it will definitly be enjoyable for the kids and adult alike. With a stellar cast I highly recommend adding this to any Disney animtated fan you wont be dissapointed.

There is some special features included but not much. As a collector my only complaint is that it didn't come with a slipcover...

A really good movie that gets the kids singing along. Lots of good action and a fun plot; teaches the old Greek myths (to a point) and shows the kids where ideas for modern superheros come from (Superman's orgin story pretty much). Very disappointed in the blu ray release with virtually no extras. It had pretty much the same stuff from the weak, very old DVD. For a film that was one of the most popular of the year when it was released, you'd think Disney would have cared more and dumping out a bare-bones release. Still, it's a great and fun movie.

This is one of Disney's most unique animated classics, featuring a zany blend of Greek mythology, Gospel music, and pop culture references. The narrators of the film, the Muses, are my personal favorite, but James Woods's Hades is one of the all-time greatest Disney villains. Picture and audio on bluray are awesome.
