As long as you don't expect much from this movie, you'll have a good time. The action sequences are great, the acting leaves something to be desired (like acting), but you'll get your money's worth with the picture and sound quality.

Was pleasantly surprised as I watched this movie. Dwayne Johnson tones up his acting skills and gets better with each movie that he stars in. Very entertaining and the special effects are well in the catagory of the mega movies. Nicely done and it plays off the story that Hercules is just a man instead of "half man - half god"; but, plays true to the myth.

If you are a Rock fan or a Hercules fan, I think you would like this movie. It is not going to wow you on cgi because it focuses on conflcts with humans, not monsters. Besides, the price is right!

Who's to say it really didn't happen this way? The story line is so plausible that it reminds you legends are rooted in truth, but also embellished in fantasy to make the tale more palatable or explain the unexplainable. This was the time of the bards - storytelling poets singing of heroic deeds. Such may have been how the tale of Hercules evolved...

There's not many people in the world who dont have some idea of who Hercules was and many of us have seen other movies about him. I saw this movie figuring it would be the same old action flick, son of Zeus movie but it turns out they have their own special twist in this movie to see it from a more human perspective. I really enjoyed the movie.

This Hercules was pretty good I had higher expectations though, I guess every time the rock or Dwayne Johnson appears in a movie I have great hopes. Was thinking that this might be an epic movie. It's not epic but it's good

Not what I expected but great to watch. I love Greek mythology and Hercules being one of my favorites, I had to watch it and I'm glad to say I'm not disappointed. Let's hope the sequel brings more of the mythology to life.

My husband purchased this for our sons. The boys (17,13,10) said it wasn't what they expected. They said it had some action, but they had a difficult time watching the wrestling stars in this movie. Overall they liked it.

Actually a pretty good movie...takes the mythology of Hercules and develops a story of a mortal's impressive strength and skill transformed into the feats of a demigod through story telling, stagemenship, and trickery.

I only purchased the movie because I had reward points that were going to expire and didn't want them to go to waste.... but I am glad I did. the trailers for the movie didn't do it justice... much better than I thought!

A more down to earth representation of the legendary Hecules, featuring companions with there own highlights and faults. A good movie with a more down to earth representation of Hecules.

Updated version of Hercules with the Rock as Hercules and added twists. 3D not great but did add intensity to some scenes.

The "Rock" does a good job in the part and the story take an interesting twist on the traditional Hercules story. The 3D photography is well done, which is why I bought the movie in the first place. If you are looking for a good action movie you should definitely consider this one, and if you are a 3D fan, it's a double win.

I saw this in the theater and liked it so much, I purchased a copy for my library. It presents a whole new twist on the Hercules legend but at the same time, makes it more plausible. The action sequences are great and the humor is well done as well. I you like sword and gladiator movies, you will enjoy this one a lot.

Like any "Rock" movies, it's entertaining enough and decent when compared to other muscle-bound-guys-play-ancient-Greek-God movies. It's no "Disney" Herc but it'll do for a night when you got nothing else going on.

My family loved this movie. All parts are not suitable for young children, but my little ones seem to like action movies. I guess that's my fault for being an avid wrestling fan. They watch what daddy watchess

Good action sequences. Ever since Steve Reeves broke his Chains in "Hercules Unchained" it has become a staple of Hercules movies. Dwayne Johnson does not disappoint and breaks the chains in a very dramatic way. There are some good plot twists and part of the original myth is changed near the end of the movie. I liked it.

This movie helps to tell how a ordinary flesh and blood man of great strength was made into a legend. The 3D effects are good and if you are into old Greek legends, this move will be one you want to own

I didn't think much of this movie, but then I saw it, and its awesome. Takes some time to get used to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson with long hair, but other than that it's a very entertaining movie. Get it!
